fr bro Trump is a certified real nigga, dude has lived the gangster life more than any other US president, always had some trouble with the law for decades, has kids with several different women (baby mommas), got side bitches, got indicted on criminal charges, and almost shot dead.
and now he has to work 2 jobs just to hustle, mcdonalds and garbage man. If you vote trump you are voting for 1730482266156.png

The chinese vote that was illegal but "Would still be counted" probably. Likely shattered any confidence in that early on and it simply never recovered.
From what I've heard, the reason that it has to be tallied is because the top part of the ballot with the identifier linking the ballot to the voter was torn off which is the last step before feeding it into the tabulator. So, there is no way to know which ballot was the Chinese guy's to be able to retrieve and invalidate it.

This has exposed a big loophole/weakness in Michigan's voting process, and my concern is that bad actors will find a way to exploit the process and stay under the radar. I've also heard talk some of Michigan's early voting procedures might get revised in response, but I'm not optimistic enough to believe anything will happen, specially since many of the changes were enshrined in the state constitution - making it very difficult to revise or remove them.

Lets hope this foreign national is convicted for his action and possessing forged citizenship documents because that's the only way to show confidence and integrity in the election process in light of his actions. Until then, people are going to wonder how someone who shouldn't be voting not only voted but got the ballot counted - and that's likely giving those same people a huge lack of confidence in the process that needs to be addressed.

Ballot stuffing goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I don't get it though, did 15 people not receive their ballots, were the 15 people dead or moved and not removed from rolls, were they ever real? I know Andy Ngo gets hit on the head a lot but he needs to give more details.
More context would definitely be helpful.

I would be understanding if this is a matter of ballots being sent to former residents of an address or people under an old name if these people never bothered to update their information changes with the appropriate clerk's office. What would concern me more would be ballots being sent to an address in the names of people never associated with an address or no longer voting (dead, moved to another area, etc.) because it raises the question, "WTF is going on here?"

Mainstream pollsters are scared shitless about being wrong in the right way or right in the wrong way because they have seen their contemporaries being replaced over the years and don't want to rock the boat so they want to land within the margin of error.
Someone I know who used to do election night coverage for TV and radio recently retired. The person had a reputation for fair and balanced post-election result reporting and earned plenty of trust during his career. When we last ran into each other, he mentioned that polling has changed so much and not for the better during recent elections that he felt it better to retire with his reputation and dignity intact than it was to stay on and deal with the current BS that polling and result reporting has become.

I contacted my local elections office for years and they always casually told me to throw the extras away. Sometimes it takes 2-3 election cycles for them to correct the problem. WA probably sends out 20% more ballots than the state has eligible voters. I never trusted our elections.
I think part of the issue was that people in the past could be trusted to destroy these extra ballots or return them to be destroyed/taken out of circulation; neither average people nor clerks offices wanted any sort of shenanigans or tomfoolery to take place.

Unfortunately, times have changed and extra ballots are now something that can be exploited to chip away at the integrity of the voting system via fraudulent ballots being introduced into the process. Even if the premise of "It happens so rarely," is accepted at face value, there's still a duty/obligation to minimize the opportunity for fraudulent votes to be cast and counted and keep the number of needless ballots being circulated as minimized as possible. It also doesn't help that there are too many bad actors out there that would love to get their hands on these extra ballots and misuse them.

Most people are willing to accept that the system isn't perfect and the occasional miscast ballot will fall through the cracks. However, sketchy stuff such as precincts reporting more ballots cast than registered voters or stacks of "missing" ballots that magically appear overnight long after polling places have closed rightfully raise eyebrows and questions. Vote by mail - especially in areas where this is the only voting method - sounds good in theory but it's just too rife for abuse without proper safeguards in place.

My district state senate race is a mess this year. The incumbent died after driving his lawnmower into a empty pool, and the only other candidate on the ballat (independant) has withdrawn from the race. So a write in candidate will win.

in the last 24 hours the local airwaves have been BOMBARDED with people putting their name out there for the seat. one's whole pitch basically boils down to "I always call football games in our favor and i have the radio voice" which is pretty funny.

but none of them are telling us how to actually spell their name when we write it in. if people spell it wrong its counted as a separate person. Who should i write in?

I am watching some CNN clips about Trump and Cheney and it's like," wait, what's the outrage here."

Lmao
It's Rupar'ing. In full context, he was essentially saying "send her to a warzone if she wants war so badly". But they took it as "put her in front of a firing squad".

But I'm not gonna be lectured on "violent rhetoric" by a party whose own rhetoric inspired two assassination attempts. I wish the Right were as nasty as the Left thinks we are.

Find the cutest dog you can, preferably your own. Print out some fliers and make a tiktok of the dog. Tell everyone to write in the dog's name.

Imagine using anything other than Dark, Kawaii.
And not mobile posting for maximum aesthetics. My text is large. My images larger and my words misspelled.

Yet, I lay in the bathtub listing only to the finest vaporwave while drinking heavily hoping not to fall asleep again. Heh, eat shit, plebs.

If the vote could be traced back to the voter then we wouldn't have a secret ballot. Getting rid of the secret ballot would open the door to all sorts of shenanigans that would be worse.

The problem is the system that allowed him to vote in the first place. A sensible voter ID law would fix this.

Lame website colors are back.
boo
There's a nifty feature to the forum software: you can set your own theme. Check it out:

You'll find it under Your Account > Preferences. Just remember, don't let anyone catch you using the Light theme, or it will be brought up in the OP of your own lolcow thread.

Now, to get back on-topic. Trump is clearly going to put RFK Jr in charge of the USDA. Who should be Trump's pick for the director of the EPA. Captain Planet is an obvious choice, but I am open to other suggestions.
