Great detective work. We wouldn't have been able to track him down by the picture he showed of his bracelet with the resort's name on it.
 
What's more believable bros:
  1. Ralph is staying at an incredibly expensive hotel and paying between $319-455 dollars a night
  2. Ralph is staying at a Fiesta Condesa that is outside of the hotel zone he's supposedly staying in and paying about $150 dollars a night
  3. Ralph is moping around the hotel zone and found a bracelet on the ground, censored the pertinent information that would confirm he paid for a room, and is sleeping in the Ralphatruck
@theralph I'm personally requesting at least 2 selfies including the view of your 5 star hotel room, and at least 3 photos of 5 star goyslop meals before i can believe you are living the Troo & Honest rockstar lifestyle inside this luxurious hotel zone :geek:.

A quick scan of Merida local news brought up nothing about widespread power outages. Piggy forgot to pay his bill, can't get electricity back because weekend and had to flee his tin shack with a now clogged toilet to spend a few rainy days in an overpriced tourist trap.

If I was Ralph, and earning as much as he claims, I wouldn't just have a starlink I would have a backup power supply.

A generator designed to kick in automatically when the power goes off might set him back $2000 including installation - and that's on the high side.

Alternatively, he could just buy a battery UPS to kick in until the power is back on. This would be a bit more pricey, but his landlord is unlikely to object and he wouldn't have to change out the fuel every few years. He could even buy some solar panels for it if he is worried about long term power outage issues.

If he really is earning nearly $500 a stream, it wouldn't take long for these things to pay for themselves. Plus, it would take away the stress of losing power, and the embarrassment of having to cancel shows because he lives in the third world. It would be a good business investment.

Piggy really doesn't think, Starlink seems to have been an impulse purchase rather than a way for him to improve the resilience of the Killstream.

Ethan, thank you for showing us your room, however you forgot to take pictures of your meal. Today's assignment is to go out and point at things, preferably some heck'n awesome architecture. I am a sucker for ruins but early Spanish colonial will do just fine.
