I think it kinda makes perfect sense actually and is very common. It's very rare to see an innocent kind hearted person to enter into a relationship with a complete reprobate unless she's got some "I can fix him" helper syndrome or he's got the "I can fix her" white knight syndrome. I remember the exact moment I was completely convinced that Styx was not someone to take seriously on any issues ever. Back during the 2016 election some guy lost his bid for governor or some shit and Styx's political analysis was to point out that in the background of his house somewhere that politician had an owl statue or some shit, used that to assume he worshipped a particular occult god and then accredited the guy's loss to that god being fickle. Eh, I mainly follow Rekieta as my lolcow of choice and Null has a record where he associates with someone who has some questionable behaviors. He’s not ride or die, but Ralph, Dax, and Rekieta all blew up on him. He did at some point confront all these people after accusations of guarding (you can judge on that, but there was a bit of it for Dick and perhaps willful ignorance on Rekieta).

I'm pretty sure those kids are Samantha's and not from Styx who only has a child with Liz.

They weren't Styx's offspring. Probably heard Null incorrectly and let my imagination run rampant. Hell, the he has one kid is something that I wasn't aware like a week or 2 ago.

I used to watch his videos. He got my attention during that infamous livestream with Richard Spencer in 2017, and I was impressed with how he debated Spencer. Before the 2020 election, I'd say that he gave some pretty solid commentary for the most part.

I admittedly have not paid any attention to his personal life until recently.

During my "try to understand why the world hates Trump" phase, Styx was one of the guys I ended watching for a while. He had a bit of an ego with his "I was right" but it was interesting hearing from somebpdy from Vermont about ol "no refunds".

I also wasn't as used to the "grifter reads news article and gives hot take" format, so I found him more insigtful at that point in time, hell, in those days Tim Pool did actual journalism too!

10/1 Mon. 9:32 AM Officially booked.
10/1 Mon. 1st court date. Bail hearing. $7,500. (Jeremy "That is 2 months salary for him").
10/2 Tue. 3ish PM. Jeremy finds out and starts bailing Styx out.

Styx has a girlfriend, her parents in town. They won't help bail him out. Styx has his parents and siblings. They aren't bailing him out. His wife doesn't even bail him out. It takes Jeremy, his co-streamer THE NEXT DAY to find out he is in jail. And it takes a youtube streamer to bail him out, The NEXT day.

Why?

Maybe they all wanted this chance for Styx to dry his ass out. Maybe Jeremy Hambly just enabled Styx. How much do you want to bet that the first thing Styx does when he gets out and make a bee line to a bar or grocery store to pick up a shit load of booze. Styx is an alcoholic. He will be incredibly stressed out. He has stated in the past he has issues being out in public around people. Letting Styx out without someone to watch him is a recipe for disaster.

Edit: If part of the bail conditions are that Styx has to stay off of drugs & alcohol, there is zero chance Styx will be able to do that. Maybe that is why nobody bailed him out. He can't stay off the sauce and they would know they would lose all of their money and he will be back in jail to await trial anyway.
