🤝 CommunityMunchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention
And I just can't comprehend why someone who has the propensity to pass out and poop their pants so often would like to be in a crowded theme park with long bathroom lines, let alone locked on a ride that can make even the healthiest people sick
And hot and humid! But I wonder if it’s the same reasons that fat people like Disney: you’re never far from AC, loads of food, and benches. The activities are designed for kids so they make you feel comfy and safe. It’s basically like being a two year old whose mum is wheeling them around the mall.
Children are pretty honest. Would figure Disney World is the last place they'd want to go. All the kids wondering around, "Mommy, why does that giant ugly man in a wheelchair with purple hair dress like a woman and have all those tubes coming out of them!??!"
Disney changing their disability standards has people freaking out.
I'm not a big theme park fan so I'm not an expert on thr allowances they give others, but I have to wonder if the outcry over disney is at least partially due to the high level of munchies that become disney adults.
I was reading comments by people claiming everything from IBS/uncontrollable shitting to cylical vomiting, seizures, fainting etc. And I just can't comprehend why someone who has the propensity to pass out and poop their pants so often would like to be in a crowded theme park with long bathroom lines, let alone locked on a ride that can make even the healthiest people sick
It’s definitely due to how much abuse the disability accommodations were getting. Twenty years ago it was good PR for Disney to bend over backwards to try and help poor disabled kids and retarded adults enjoy Disney world, then munchies and histrionic, demanding assholes turned it into a nightmare. All the autism diagnoses had to also make it exceedingly difficult to accommodate the 41 flavors of disabilities, or even take them seriously.
I only hope the new disability standards mean the 8 year old in a wheelchair with cerebral palsy gets to enjoy the park, and the awful munchies with EP animals get told to fuck off. The past decade munchies have moved to Florida just to get annual passes and have Disney validate their illness faking. Disney realized the problem was only festering and growing every year and finally put their foot down.
Most of the loud assholes complaining also have claim to have conditions, or have kids with conditions, that should make Disney the last place on earth they should want to be. It’s all about attention and validation for these insufferable bitches.
Back in the 80s and 90s the disability pass system was even more lenient and if you had one disabled person in your party, no questions asked, your whole group skipped every line. These massive Brazilian tour groups used to designate one of their group as "disabled" for the week and then the whole 200+ person group would get to line jump every single ride and photo op. If you went in Brazilian season you might as well just pack it in and go home. A herd of them would just materialize in their matching shirts as soon as you even thought of doing something.
Fun fact I'm not sure I ever mentioned on here: 'long about 2019 I was living in Florida and my cousin took his kid who has a neuro condition down for a day or two at the parks so I joined them. This child doesn't really appear disabled but can't toilet independently. So we were in one of the parks and I took her into the companion bathroom. Not the handi stall in the big bathroom, the single room specifically meant for disabled people who need help using the toilet. It was just more dignified for kiddo, who was approaching her teen years. You know, people in adjacent stalls won't have to hear us discussing the issue and other than a few people who watch me enter the room with her no one needs to know she has this issue. We get out and the people waiting for the stalls are two chubby they/them looking girls in wheelchairs, one with what looks like a tan and white pit bull in a service dog vest absolutely covered in patches of the "how dare you even look at my dog" variety and a pair of those stupid dog goggles they all had to have for a while. And they see me walking out of there with what appears to be a normal child and give me the stink eye of my fucking life, like I have literally killed them by using this.
Weirdly, even though I was there with a kid who did need help using the toilet I felt embarrassed by it, like yeah I could have just taken her in the regular bathroom and tried to keep as quiet and discreet as possible while helping her. She didn't really need things like transfer bars and maybe these girls did. Maybe one of them uses incontinence garments and has trouble changing herself so the other lends a hand. I don't know and I don't like to assume, even though they clearly did assume my kid was fine. So I kind of hurried my charge out of their way and didn't look back.
A year later I stumbled on Willow and Rose, the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEing they/themmy Trevino munchies in wheelchairs. Rose had a tan and white pit bull "service dog" she liked to deck out in patches and goggles for maximum attention. I will never know if that's who I saw that day but it's just too close to what I remembered and to this day I will always kind of chuckle when I see them pop up everywhere in everyone's comments preaching disability rights, knowing they were enraged that a little girl who cannot dress or undress herself used the special private bathroom that they bought themselves a ticket to.

Shit, I've been to a theme park while hungover and that was a horrible time. And I didn't even go on any rides.
Yet every "chronically.amy" with an insta who claims to pass out and vomit if they even move too fast is screaming that they can't jump the line to their favorite roller coaster.
This has to be the best thing ever to say to a munchie. I doff my cap to thee, amazing.
The Christine Milneaux thread ended up being an educational read despite the munchie being so dull. I just finished reading it and most kiwis were kind to her, actually offering helpful advice which she completely ignored in true cow fashion.
Frustrating.
The last straw, as I understand it, was the unholy fusion of munchie and Disney influencers publishing detailed guides on exactly how to scam the system.

Ugh, I have another, much funnier Christine-type dying victorian princess in the pipeline but youtube era Sarah-Jean is taking so much fucking time. Same reason I never get around to posting my Jaquie retrospective. It's just so much fucking content to pick through. With Tiktok at least I can usually tell by a few seconds in that the video is going to be nothing interesting. The daily vloggers would make a 10 minute video about buying a new toilet brush then casually throw in a really ridiculous lie in the end and if you don't at least scan every video you miss so much.

I don't ever stop thinking it's funny that these people act like I'm Satan incarnate for mocking the content they post publicly on the Internet when that content is instructions on how to lie, cheat, and steal for your own advantage, often at the expense of terminally ill and disabled children.
I'm relatively new to Dani and I've brushed up on her general lore, but I have a question. Is she retarded? Like not munchie, attention seeking retarded, but like actually intellectually disabled? She seems to have no shame and lacks basic self-awareness, but I've read that she worked as a pharmacy tech for a while and had education related to that. I've seen people speculate she's just high all the time (I've seen that insane med list post) but I just can't tell if she's actually slow or is just super into infantilizing herself.
Did she actually ever have a boyfriend or is she just so sad and lonely that she made him up (or does he just go to another school so we wouldn't know him)

Hard to tell. She probably has some baked-in learning disabilities from being born very premature, +/- induced brain damage from starving/puking herself retarded as a teenager. I get the impression that even if she didn't have any real learning disabilities as a kid she was treated as if she did and expectations were lowered for her. A lot of it is lack of emotional control and immaturity exacerbated by substance abuse and social media.
She tends to get jobs when she's trying to lose weight. At the peak of her ED, before she got sent to treatment for the last time, she was working 2-3 jobs at a time so that she was always too busy to eat. She did the same with the Express job a year ago and she'll do the same with this current job. She knows she can't avoid food when she's sitting around her apartment scrolling tiktok so she uses school programs and menial jobs to distract herself and keep herself busy. So she throws herself into them, does a good job, makes herself useful, the kind of unthinking cog in the system that retail jobs love. I am dead certain that her newfound interest in being employed is related to her being told she doesn't need TPN.
She did attempt a pharmacy tech course back about 10 years ago and was briefly employed at a drug store. IIRC it was right before she went to princeton for inpatient treatment and then went on disability. I do not know for certain if she finished the course and became a pharma tech or if she just claimed she was one.
She was dating a guy named Paul Liptak many years ago. He is now married to a woman who seems perfectly lovely and functional. Dani has never admit they broke up and for many years after the fact still explicitly claimed Paul was dating her, they were planning to move in, they were going to get engaged, he drove her to the hospital, etc. It's one of my favorite lies she tells because it would have been so easy to say "we broke up, it sucked, I have a new boyfriend and he doesn't want to be on my social media because of the haters." No one would have been able to prove that was a lie, as much as they assumed it was. Instead she insisted she and Paul were still together until his wedding website was found and now is trying to weasel out of it.
I work with home health care adjacently and bed bound is almost always accompanied with some kind of hospice. Most of my "bed bound" patients are 90+ with failure to thrive.
Our favorite poop-handed munchie is upsetty spaghetti that the ER didn't admit her for some simple ovarian cysts. She googled 'worst ovarian cysts' and took an hour learning to pronounce hemorrhagic and is now claiming the hospital is negligent.
Findings were three cysts (one apparently 5cm? mm? she's an idiot and probably doesn't know the difference) and free fluid.
As our resident medfag, every woman produces a Copus Luteum cyst every month that releases the egg from your ovary. Other than that, most women (I'm talking like 90%) have a cyst at some point in their life and never know, because they self-resolve. Even a 5cm cyst is relatively normal.
The concern is when they're complex i.e. have some kind of septations, pus, or weird texture within them. If they're simple cysts (nothing but fluid inside) they generally aren't biopsied if they aren't complex and aren't removed unless they're actively causing pain or big enough to cause ovarian torsion (over 4-5cm, even so, highly unlikely). The standard course of treatment (again, when they aren't complex or causing pain) is follow up after a few menstrual cycles because they most often self-resolve. My OB had me come in after 6 months to re-check my softball sized cyst. It was gone, wow, magic!
Free fluid in the posterior cul-di-sac is normal at the point in the cycle when the Corpus Luteum is released. It's even normal when you're actively menstruating. It can also be caused by simple cysts draining/resolving on their own. Your body just reabsorbs the fluid.
She's just munching for an admission and pain meds. Nothing more.

You’re looking at it the wrong way - it’s the perfect setting stage for getting discriminated against without fearing any actual harm. A little kid making fun of a tranny is endless fuel for them to cry victim on twitter and Reddit. They also LOVE it when people approach their dog that has a million “do not pet” patches, because it’s also easy woe is me content to film and farm sympathy from. They want the attention, if they didn’t then they wouldn’t be dressing their dogs in stupid fucking flashy vests and Mickey ears.

Your pfp is also a reference to the face I made after learning about that particular poop incident
I love it so much, this look perfectly encapsulates the shock haha
