I was hoping Sam was part of cool money, like Notch money, but him and his gimp making regular appearances in NY to kiss pariah's ring(muscle) as a show of submission is not good vibes, and neither is seeing Goran with Ivy Wolk's brow transplants
if things were properly aligned, he'd ruthlessly mock the likes he's now surrounding himself with, but he seems to be in complete "printing money for me and mine" mode (at least he appeared half-resentful on LoS, suffah!!!!)

I hope he at least didn't accept anything less than a galaxy from Moldbug, a star or a planet would be really cheap

The problem with being like Notch is (A) I doubt Sam has enough trust money to sit on his ass for the rest of his life(if he were that set would he really be running all this NFT stuff for quick money?) and (B) he likely need to play ball a bit to secure the production resources and distribution he needs. Sure, Notch's shitposting is funny but it's alienated a lot of people he could potentially work with, meaning he's mostly stuck developing things solo(granted, it could be preference but even his own company blacklisted him.) It's just the price of doing business; eventually you either give in and make compromises or you do everything on your own, and at this point I doubt Sam has it in him to play the underground game anymore. He'll continue to round off his edges with age and eventually someone younger with more energy will come along and start doing what he used to do.
