Never mind the self portrait. WTF is with that background? A kindergarten tree and... The Space Needle? An alien mushroom? A giant flying jellyfish?

Even if it's practice it's not like the finished backgrounds are any better. She should just go for solid colors. It would be a lot better than the kindergarten scribbles that usually embellish her works.

And no, she didn't look decent back then. She still looked gross. For her to look decent you need to go back to her high school days before she really got into the lolita and weeb shit. I mean, I think the reason the event was canceled is bullshit (because if you have to rely on your brain meds that much for something you should be getting CBT for to help you learn how to deal with things when you aren't on meds and aren't in that therapy, then that's on you) and Pixy has every right to be mad and less than sympathetic.

Slight power level. My "government insurance" covers my ADHD meds but doesn't cover therapy. And I'm not currently working so cannot afford to get the therapy I need.

Yeah but sometimes the side effects are worse than the thing that they're treating.


And that's possibly why so many people on medication stop taking it. It's a sad state of affairs but we still don't understand the brain and how it works as well as we could. So every method is effectively a band-aid method and they will try to get you on a cocktail of drugs that smooths you out but doesn't make you go catatonic or crazier than you were before.

I think it's more like I feel better "I don't need medicine anymore."
