So okay here's the deal, I got to see this shit first hand. My mom is like 1 of 8 kids, she was born in Compton. At some point she managed to GTFO and go to college to become a parelegal, so I got to grow up suburb, and my older brother (RIP) and I have white names.

The majority of my mom's family (my dad's too but I spent more time with my mom's family as a kid) is ghetto as fuck.
I'm giving you some background so you understand why I'm an expert in observing Neighbors, while being a Neighbor, but being an outsider.

I'm what you'd call "well spoken", if you get my meaning.

So ghetto black people ALWAYS have fucking music playing, or the TV is SUPER fucking loud. They like to gather in groups at peoples homes to "kickback" or "shoot the shit". So the TV and the music has to loud because we talk a fuck ton, we talk over each other, and we're REALLY loud. My wife has commented on this when she's forced to accompany me around family. It really surprises white people how loud black people in a group can be.

This ALWAYS evolves into a low level running party. People in and out all fucking day. My family have left me alone in their house with a neighbor I do not know to go to someone else's kickback.
This is common. They will legit just show up to someone's house and chill while that person leaves for a day, and then someone else who doesn't live there will show up to chill.

This usually only ends when the lady of the house gets home late at night and kicks everyone the fuck out so she can sleep.

So basically, black households are always obnoxiously loud, and you get really fucking used to it. The smoke detector is the least intrusive sound you're going to hear at night and throughout your day.

Add to that that no one fixes SHIT in ghetto black households. They are obnoxiously dirty, cluttered and run down. In the case that they are clean it's usually a woman's house, and black women don't/can't fix anything.

The chicken washing thing is because it's slimy and we season/prep meat in the sink.

No, there are at least two or three people here who I would call openly black, and probably some more with better opsec who don't put out personally identifying information at all.

I have a theory that they can't hear the chirp/beep is because its such a high pitch their ears/brain are not designed properly to hear it like every other Human. kind of like the way we hear mice make very high pitched squeaking noises and the way niggers heads/brains are shaped to a way they're missing important parts of the human brain.

It is really noticably with the more formal races like Japs, Krauts, Hungarians or Slavs, who often indulge in surly sessions of silence. The latter two sometimes erupt into loud cursing like a Scottsman.

From a pure user interface standpoint, the smoke alarm has a lot of challenges because it has to be discreet, but not forgotten about. The reason the 'chirp' gets ignored, which I freely admit I've managed to tune out before (I wasn't authorized to change it) is because it isn't exactly intuitive, because nobody but landlords actually think about or read manuals for smoke detectors. It's high pitched enough to notice every now and then, but subtle enough that it can be easy to dismiss or melt in with background noise, and even when you hear it could be interpreted to mean a wide variety of things. Then you have people on both ends of the spectrum who are aggravated immediately and who completely miss it which in both cases makes it a bit of a failure.

'Error' tones should generally be lower in pitch and last longer, but that obviously drains the battery faster and may prompt the homeowner to actually disable it if they think it's only going to be a liability. There's also the fact that the consumer market has trained people to think that replacable battery anything is a huge pain in the ass.

I'm going with the hypothesis that darkies tend to be really loud/less sensitive to sound, so it doesn't bother them like it does white people. It just contributes to the ambient noise of their environment.

That black people might have a lower average range of hearing is an interesting idea with a lot of implications.

For example, in the Anglosphere, there are anti-naughtiness devices called mosquito alarms, and they operate at the edge of human hearing- they're reported as intolerable to younger people but after 25 most people can't hear them at all. It would be curious if the current propensity of certain types of black youths to inauspiciously congregate was partly due to being unaffected by these devices.

You're assuming it's a supportive network of close familial bonds.
It's not.
It's a lose association of poor people who are more than happy to stab each other in the back if they think they can get away with it.
We're not talking 70s/80s poverty culture where you were poor but had a strong community because it helped protect everyone. Even then those people shared a cultural aspect of being outsiders.
Bullshit aside when you live in these types of situations 90% of the people you have actual issues with are people that you were friends/family with last week. There's not really a support system outside of "Can I borrow/have this." and then you talk shit about them for never returning it.
The reason why this occurs and is common is because no one is doing anything and they're trying to get shit from you.
Like sure there's a trust, but that trust is there because my cousins WILL fuck you up for stealing from them. Violence is expected and the norm.
That's not to say that a GOOD version of that doesn't exist. Like I can show up to any of my close families houses and it's whatever. I stayed with this particular Uncle for a week while moving out of state.
It's just a commentary on the culture, but don't mistake it as some kind of close knit community feature.
