Well, as long as it gets people angry, then all that matters is getting enough popcorn to watch the spectacle.

Btw, we'll be watching this for movie night when it comes out.
 
Everyone is whining about "muh feminism", "muh soggy knees", "muh fat acceptance", and I'm just sitting here thinking that this movie would still be terrible even if they hadn't cast Schumer. There's just no way in hell a live-action movie based on a doll line will not be shit.

So am I, but I am also a terrible film enthusiast. Then only reason it didn't sweep at the Razzies that year is because Lindsay Lohan shat out I Know Who Killed Me at the same time.

Honestly, in a way I'm kind of looking forward to the Barbie film out of pure morbid curiosity. I want to see exactly how horrid it can be. I await the reviews with popcorn in hand.
 
Like for real these men are not men at all for being this up in arms about a girls toy movie. There is no defense of their blatant manchild rage.



These are not men. They lost that designation as soon as they felt the need to fire up their cameras and got mad at a Barbie movie
