This is a minor grievance, but as someone who appreciates historical architecture it really bugged me.

I'm glad you brought this up, I saw this as well and was disgusted by it. I try not to get into the merit of art due to its subjectivity; but in terms of what Trump did, it is the perfect microcosm of who he is.
He arrogantly destroyed something from the time he ironically; wants to take America back to in his "Make America Great Again" message. He screams about bringing metalworking back to America, claims to want to bring automotive factories to the states, echoing the times of the Automotive Revolution etc. but has zero respect for the history or even context of the Art-Deco stylings that came with it.

This is from July, so not new but helps illustrate his feelings toward veterans even more. Trump is suing the governor of Michigan to stop veterans from being able to vote at VA locations.

With that said, take a look at a very quick search of recent presidents at the headstones within Arlington National Cemetery. *** I couldn’t find any of George W. Bush standing alongside the headstones.

For fairness, I included two of Trump, one showing him paying respects to a soldier, the other is the goofy campaign ad photo that is truly distasteful. If Tim Walz of Kamala Harris did this, the Magatards would be going on a tear right now and it would already be in a campaign ad video shitting on how distasteful this is. Compound that with they weren’t permitted to do this in the first place in that area of the grounds.

I hadn't seen most of those before. I presume the Trump picture with a blue tie is from a previous trip, possibly when he was President?
