They genuinely only care about maximum killing of Russians and actually do believe that victory is just around the corner if they just get one more wonder weapon. They do not care about other people supporting them because in their eyes, all those who oppose them are just useful idiots deceived by Russian propaganda if not actual bots. They take themselves very seriously and think the west is holding back Ukraine from victory because they do believe the most maximalist version of sensational propaganda, assume it to be the baseline of the west's capacity in supporting the conflict, imagining that they simply can magically procure everything at a moment's notice because they have money. They are angry that there was never any no-fly zone established or that the west has not sent their armies to the frontline. They are angry that China is not under total trade embargo and they are angry that the USA has politicians who don't want a war with Russia. They are angry that every piece of Russian literature hasn't been shredded and recycled into paper pulp, because the optics of out right burning it are just too uncomfortable.

It's genuinely astonishing to observe people who are completely infuriated that the third world war isn't underway because they genuinely do believe the time to strike is now and any delay is out of politicians being cowards or traitors. They are still a minority, but numerous enough to be of concern and a real voting bloc to pander to. Ideally, they do get what they ask for without the rest of us having to re-establish civilization after the worst of the radiation has died down.

As someone who had to travel for reasons to both Europe and Ukraine, let me tell you, the most bloodthirsty people are actually in England and for some reason I can't fathom, Switzerland. Most Ukrainians who lived in Ukraine I met, even in big cities, were the most chill and just want the war to be over without losing their life, a family member or their livelihoods.

They understand they must win but they are not crazy about it nor do they want to KILL EVERY RUSSIAN. Many have families there and many ended up in Ukraine because of some random decision a grandparent or parent made during the USSR. I'm not saying there won't be bad blood for generations or that Ukrainians don't want to win this war badly, but the NAFO-types are mostly in Europe and there are some select Ukrainians that pander to them with the gore drone vids and publicity for support.

The English in particular are the bloodthirstiest because they are firmly committed to WW2 mythos and genuinely do think Putin is Russian Hitler. Much like their American counterparts, they are fairly ignorant of history that happens somewhere else and see everything to the east of Vistula as Mordor. They have the most sensationalist press in the world and thus, they are constantly fed a line of propaganda about how Vladdie eats Ukrainian children or a BRITISH missile destroyed a million-billion tanks and sank the entire fleet in Sevastopol. They take everything Azovites says at their word and don't even think about the irony of it all. Thus, they inevitably are the most interested in being NAFO because they see this conflict as black and white as it can be.

As for the Swiss, I have no clue what makes them tick but perhaps they are also fed the same degree of sensationalism about this conflict. Shame that this conflict was both completely avoidable and only exists because the current borders were drawn in the 1950's by a Soviet committee more interested in having an efficient administration of a Soviet republic than what the ethnographic map looks like. You also can see this in the way the Artsakh dispute unfolded, because the borders down in the caucasus were drawn in the 1930's by bureaucrats.

They’re beginning to close themselves off to their own echo chambers where they can goon to footage of Russian conscripts being blown up.
