💼 Careercow Vincent Parrelli / Jolly Cat / Hat in the Cat - struggling christian clown with a temper

is Vinny exactly as he appears, or an elaborate hoax perpetrated by an unknown brooklyn comedian?

  • he's real, no mortal could sing waddle like a duck almost daily for ten years

  • he's fake, andy kaufman was reincarnated as an italian

For those who know something about him, has he had any success? Was the "America's Got Talent" humiliation his career peak, and the rest is open mic nights and stuff like that? Does he work at an actual job?

He doesn't work outside of street performing and comedy clubs. I said earlier that he got paid at clubs but he's said some things that make me suspect otherwise.

He considers being selected for AGT a high point in his career

Normally wouldn't double-post like this, but it looks like Vinny knows about the thread. Tony was shown it *cough cough* and immediately decided to show Vinny.

((19:49))

Uploaded some recent on-stream freakouts as well. Vinny's been getting weened really hard by his fellow Brooklynites. A new wave of shitty prank callers, someone putting stickers on his door, and Tony's really stepping up his campaign to irritate Vinny. He's been real hostile on stream lately and is threatening to become even more active as the Jolly Cat.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=GaJumwYv_pIFresh off the presses. I'll work on putting up the rest of the video I got. Vinny confirmed for virgin with foot fetish and lifelong fear of vagina.
Or you know, tell her before you marry her that you have a pathological fear of something that 99% of straight men prize. It's telling that he wants to wait until after he's married and in his wedding bed before admitting that.

Happy Cabbie?

How can we watch his streams? Is it through his FB page or The Jolly Cat FB page?

Ah, sorry, I should've been more clear on this! I'll adjust the OP.
He regularly livestreams from https://www.facebook.com/thejollycat321. It's been getting progressively less boring, to the point that Vinny has a ratio of like, two existential crises to one Jolly Cat performance on stream.

An anonymous source has leaked conversations between Tony and Vinny. There are 5 conversations and each escalates.

Vinny Calls Tony Halloween Night - 6:24
A basic phone call to give you an idea of Vinny and Tony's relationship. Tony encourages Vinny with tough love, Vinny is not receptive.

Vinny Calls Tony With His Theories And To Ask Him To Leave Him Alone - 23:09
Vinnie accuses Tony of putting stickers on his door but theorizes he’s sending his friend James to do his dirty work. James chimes in. Vinnie says he’s done with Tony. He also cites his 2 theories for Tony’s motives. Tony tries to convince Vinnie to smarten up and to be less insane. Vinnie condemns Islam. And explain why the Devil hates him. Tony warns Vinnie about his curse. James embarrasses Vinnie when he confronts him about his lewd act that was caught on video responding to a prank caller during a live stream. Vinnie in his paranoia imagines that this call is on a video show. James teases Vinnie about his paranoia. Vinnie denies he’s paranoid. He says he’s carrying a pipe now (due to the ‘door sticker stalker’). The 3-way conversation culminates with Vinnie’s cow-like eating sounds. Vinnie implies he’s coming over with ill intention. But then admits he’s playing. The call ends nicely as many of their calls actually do.

Tony Tells Vinny About KF - 6:31
Vinny tells Tony he’s #1 on his list. Tony says he doesn’t mind bloodying Vinny. Vinny blames Tony for the last live streams waning attendance. Tony tells Vinny to stop eating during his live streams. Tony imagines Vinny naked butt. Tony tells Vinny about Kiwi Farms.

Vinny Calls Back Dying To Know About KF - 10:08
Vinny attempts to manipulate Tony to get information from him. Then he lies that Kiwi makes him happy. Tony reminds Vinnie of his curse and that Vinnie is making it worse. Vinnie hangs up in anger when Tony refuses him.

Vinny Calls Back Tony After Reading Kiwi Farms - 4:21
Vinny calls back Tony after reading Kiwi Farms. Becoming furious, Vinny asserts that Kiwi is slandering him by showing a video of what he calls a bad show. He again claims he’s one of the best evangelist street performers ever in defiance of Kiwi. He also claims he has brought the most joy and accuses Kiwi of slander. Vinny cannot tolerate Tony agreeing with Kiwi and is furious with him for doing so.

Very interested to see where this goes.

This guy scares me. He makes me genuinely uncomfortable. I don't know for sure what the fuck is wrong with him, but I really hope he gets some professional help.
They never do, even when it's offered or pressed on them. It's often considered as one of the most important markers for a true lolcow; when given a chance to make their miserable life less miserable, they are pissed off and insulted by the implication that they're not perfect. There are exceptions, there are those who do get help (whether they want it or not, at least to begin with) and those who don't have anyone.

Hopefully this cow's family are able to help him. If not, they may find themselves agonising over the decision to kick him out when they hear him start to sing, Lizzie Borden took an axe...

Was hunting around for this for a while now- finally found the search terms that made it rear its ugly head.
Years ago, Vinny pitched a pilot for a kid's show. I'd only seen stills of it and figured it hadn't seen the light of day, but he actually did put it online. It's on his Vimeo.

In keeping with Vinny's general approach to his career, he just put it up online without pitching it to anyone at all and waited in vain for the TV execs to contact him.

Of note is that Vinny's 'character' in this pilot, "Yumni Bumbalo," is something he's discussed rarely on stream. He says it's based on a childhood imaginary friend he had.

I don't think anybody can deny his... passion for this but seriously has nobody ever sat him down and said that he's got no talent?

Has anyone made any transcripts or anything of the most important videos from this guy?

Transcripts sound like a sisyphean task. If someone else would like to, great, but be prepared for the carpal tunnel you'll experience after typing 'waddle like a duck' the eight thousandth time

As for archival, the harsh reality is that the most important videos never even got saved to his facebook. In the past I had neither the time nor motive to save vids before he took them down. I remember some serious freakouts and a couple videos where he'd point fingers at god for not giving him a career. He came kinda close to renouncing once or twice.

I'll try and timestamp more of the stuff on the reupload channel. Skipping through really helps to take the edge off the fact that this man makes all his streams an hour

I think that's what makes it funny. His whole act appears to be the same five grating songs, for years. He brings them out like they are beloved favorites except only 8 people can stand to listen to them (that number may be high). If Vinny thought the songs sucked, then there's no joke, but he thinks they're genius children's entertainment. The fact he's a virgin man-child with a foot fetish totally fits the life of a guy who would sing terrible children's songs for a disinterested audience.

Kind of related:
When I was still living in New York City, this guy would come on the train to perform, and he would wear American flag pants and pretend to perform magic. At the end of his routine (it was always the same routine) he would say that "the real magic comes from god." It was pretty obvious he was poor and working class. I wonder if he may have been the same guy as Hat in the Cat, I wouldn't put it past him, as he was very eccentric.

Did he look anything like this guy?
