Well, there's also a corollary to that: when a shithead you hate starts agreeing with your worldview, or worse, being a bad example of it.

Some of my younger co-workers and their absolute inability to take care of themselves, resulting in them calling in sick all the fucking time.

It's not all of them, only two, but they're both lazy as fuck, only eat garbage food (their bodies probably get like 10g of protein per day, the rest is sugar and fat), don't move a lot or work out, smoke pot, drink alcohol, and either play video games all day long or watch tv.

We need more supervisors at our job since most times, we're left hung to dry during customer interaction pending approval.

They're still pretty good on basic research, which is to say the stuff that wouldn't get done by private industry because despite much of it being economically exploitable, gaining such knowledge benefits everyone equally, while not having an income stream that can be captured by the person doing it, that is, no single entity profits from it to an extent that makes it profitable to do.
 
  1. Kitchens that don't have doors, much less locks, meaning I can't keep retards the fuck out.
  2. Retards who touch someone else's cooking without fucking asking first, unless something is on actual fire and/or about to set off the smoke alarms.
  3. Retards who think that because a pot/pan has too much liquid in it, that must mean it needs to be drained rather than left to reduce, because I guess sauces and stews are black magic only found in jars and cans of goyslop.
  4. Trying to do something nice for people while unable to exclude those who don't deserve it, just so they can sabotage it and then complain that it's not as good as it was hyped up to be.
Every fucking thing I try to do for other human beings these days gets thrown back into my face by the eternal darkie menace and their zoomie allies. FML.

I'm guessing these people internet date a lot. I've got the opposite problem. For years people seem to just show up and have no idea what they're applying for and where, and therefore cannot answer the question of what they would bring to our organization. Even interns that I know personally suddenly can't demonstrate that they know us well and how that would provide specific benefits. Why does everyone speak in generalities? Girl, you handled xyz problem and learned abc about it. Tell the people in the room about it, don't just say you're a great problem solver!
Then we get the people who only talk about how great this is for them. One sentence on that is fine. If you can't tell me what you're going to do for us, get out.

I don't think that was the problem in this case.

I just think that he was trying to flex on me. Like, "look, I'm doing my research for this job, and that research includes YOU".

I don't necessarily have a problem with people looking at my LinkedIn (in case you want to know more about what I do, what my role is, and if you can expect to have a similar role), but it's considerably rude to use it to act like you know me when you're applying for a job.
 
Why does every fast food place put fries, nuggets, etc in those stupid stand things? Every time, they put the food in the stand thing and throw it in the bag, which means it inevitably falls out of the stand, ends up all over the inside of the bag, and the grease soaks through the bag. Just put them in a box, fucking hell.

Nobody knows how to interview anymore on either end of it because job interviews are an absolute shitshow of retarded lying to each other for rounds on end, with interviewers getting "icks" too easily. Employers are basically women, which makes sense I suppose, because HR.

This shit fucking terrifies me. It's hard enough just looking for a suitable job and trying to get past all the automated HR bullshit, but then the endless perfomative bullshit in interviews.... Pray for me.

I'm visiting my parents. My dad gets a phone call from a number he doesn't know. Despite us telling him over and over to not answer numbers he doesn't know he answers it. Because he's a boomer he puts it on speaker. Pajeet woman claiming they need to send him a new medicare card but first they need *ALL* the information on it. I tell him "this is a scam, hang up." and he goes "lol no it isn't" and proceeds to give her all the info. He hangs up, then asks me why I thought it was a scam. I told him medicare already has his medicare info and would just send him the card. Plus I'm pretty sure they do all this stuff through mail and don't ask for info over the phone.

He stares blankly for a few seconds, and claims they didn't ask for his social security number though so it's not like they can do anything. I point out they can make unauthorized charges to medicare which he will get billed for.

Loses his shit, starts screaming at me for not stopping him, then starts screaming at my mom for not stopping him, and then despite being a "government needs to butt out of my business" guy he starts screaming about how the government needs to protect him from scammers.

I'm so fucking sick of this retard getting scammed all the time. I'm starting to think they're right and he deserves it.
 
It's very ironic how it seems people are overall stupider now (despite how ubiquitous internet access is) compared to before when one had to go to a library and look through books or newspaper articles for doing research. There is even a "competency crisis" starting!

It's not a pet peeve or anything, but it really pissed me off that a fagtube thumbnail spoiled a 20+ year old game for me.
edit: added a spoiler in case there's some other nutjobs like me who never played GTA 3.

Yes, I did not play any GTA after 2. I wanted to give 3 and its spawns a go at some point, but now I can't be fucked, especially since I thought Smoke was a 100% bro through and through.

That's GTA San Andreas. This came out after 3, you are still unspoiled for GTA 3
