Regarding the need to prove damages, DSP's statement arguably falls under the category of "harmful to one's trade or profession" of defamation per se, so Keem wouldn't have to prove actual damages to have a valid case. If Keem wants to burn money to make a point, he could win the case with even $1 of nominal damages. The onus would be on DSP to prove the truth of his claim.

If Keem did win, DSP might be in a rather tight spot, as he can't declare bankruptcy again for a good few years yet.

If the concept is that broad it doesn't mean a damn thing. Reality shows are fake and scripted. They always are. That's just a well known fact. I don't see how saying the obvious remotely harms Keem or anyone else. I don't even know that running a repulsive freakshow is even a "trade or profession." That's for things like saying a lawyer is incompetent, a doctor is a quack, even a leading man like Tom Cruise did not make this argument when someone called him gay.

I don't think Jim would sell out for Keem.
I think he was just getting sick of it. I have some doubts Metokur would have even done a third stream if it wasn't Boogie's birthday. That was just too good of timing to pass up.
I do remember at one point during one of the streams Keem piped up when Metokur was making a point and Metokur basically told him to shut the fuck up and let him speak.
I thought for sure Keem would have sperged out from being told to shut up - on his own show no less, but Keem actually did, thank god.

Re: Defamation case, don't they not only have to prove monetary damages, but also social damages? He's got to prove by DSP saying that he harmed his reputation, and Keem already did that himself.
