A tattoo is an open wound. You don't want an open wound to "breathe". You want to keep it clean, moisturized, and covered. Also away from sun. Those same reddit bros are probably the ones having shitty tattoos done by their buddy while getting drunk (you are also not supposed to drink alcohol on the day you are getting your tattoo because alcohol is bad for healing/it gives you fuzzy tats.

Anyway, I am not a tattoo pro, I only have one small one, but I have friends who have many and I learned a lot about this shit from them. I trust my own experience and Googling more than I do Reddit retards in any case.

Besides... I will go back to "I know what the skin looks like around and under a tatoo." It's red, there is some bleeding, and it is puffy. And that's on your hand! It would only be puffier and more sensitive on your face.

I never done a small tattoo so again, it might be different but you always smear some lotion/Vaseline on or whatever straight after. Then (usually) cover it.

There's no excess ink to be found. That's my smoking gun and I'm sticking to it.

I'm gonna give my two cents on the matter since I have a small history of polycythemia...

It's not a real cancer, it's more a 'blood dysfunction'. Your blood produces too many red blood cells. Since it's not a real cancer, there's another form of it called Secondary Polycythemia. This means the cause is from another problem and it's secondary... This is what I had, before doctors found my kidney cancer and removed it and part of one of my kidneys... After surgery my blood tests returned to normal thankfully...

Boogie, being a useless fat fuck, possibly has heart disease, possibly sleep apnea since it happens much more often with morbidly obese people, uses diuretics due to heart disease, and possibly has other things going on. His terrible diet habits basically gave him secondary polycythemia and he's been using it for sympathy points.

PV is a form of leukemia because it causes bone marrow to produce too many red blood cells, which is a characteristic of cancer.

But what differentiates it from other cancers is that it’s very slow growing and is genetic, unlike other types of cancer, and it can be managed.

I'm also mixed on the tattoo. Its true that modern tattoo guns are wireless and pretty quiet for the most part, mixed with Discord's noise protection, its plausible in that area.

The time it took for sure was fast but a skilled artist, could do that lettering that quickly, it wasn't much so ill allow it.

I recently got a tattoo and that new clear patch they put one works great, but the blood didn’t bleed through for a little bit. I’d say from the time my tattoo finished to the time the blood started coming though was closer to an hour.

Had no intention of talking of talking about this, but since everyone else is I'll throw my two cents in. I got a tattoo to honor my granddad (all my siblings and cousins did the same) and it was literally just R.I.P [his first name]. I got mine done on my upper back, between my shoulder blades and it took about 30 minutes. Its a couple more letters than Steven's and it was done in a more complex font but its roughly the same size. While I'm not a tattoo expert I'd wager his work would've taken at least 10-15 minutes, not 5. While I was watching it felt like even less than 5. I've never gotten a face tattoo so I probably wouldn't understand how that feels, but the way Steven didn't even flinch, the lack of redness, the positioning of the tattoo on his face, everything just felt off. And that was on top of Keem trying hype up this nothingburger.
