Maybe this belongs in the DSPolitics thread but it’s pretty much the only important question in my mind: What is Phil’s take on the Mr. Beast tranny scandal?
He's too blinded being a jealous bitch that Beast makes mountains of money more than him.

I think it has to do with the fact that if more people find out about him and his antics, not just his past, new people are going to find out more and more about him and be turned off by how much of a asshole he truly is.
absolutely

I clicked on this and was bitching out his audience for attendance and support. He's at like 60 dollars, 10 above the "if I get that I'm happy" amount

The greed is massively strong
At this point it's more the exception than the rule that a stream is anywhere past $50 going into the last hour. Probably one if not both things are happening... DSP asks whoever this whale is to hold out until the last minute or said whale has a fetish for DSP begging and wants it to last as long as possible.

We're at a new point where nobody is even tipping during the copecast, which should mean it'll go away if his words are to be believed and he can't do things that nobody supports...

If you ever happen to see his chat through a restreamer, it's like 90% trolls. Obviously so infact. He never seems to get this (hint hint autism, he jokes and cooperates with people shitting on him all the time, see John Rambo in the old Wrestling podcast they did where John calls him fat and makes fun of him all the time. I'm convinced Rambo was The First Detractor and that's why he maintained a relationship with him.)
Very good list. This one though I will say is the right call. He realized a year or two ago that most of his viewership are trolls/detractors/larpers or whatever and became more lax with his chat. If he were to ban them there would be no reason for the whales to whale out, it would just be them and nightbot in there.

Like it's halfway toward allowing TTS tips which would immediately improve his financial status. The Gothic King Cobra is a legitimate retard and even he figured it out on his own somehow years ago.

I never thought I'd see a crossover between HWNDU and DSP roughly seven years after HWNDU ended, but remember that Mansoor guy DSP is deluding himself into thinking is a secret fan.

He was the famous eyepatch/Jesus guy at the original HWNDU. This vortex is amazing.

Like how he actually thinks the message of Scrooged was that Bill Murray did nothing wrong, he did everything correct, and it's everyone else that just needed to see that.
Does he actually think that? I remember when he reviewed Scrooged last year, and apart from a misinformation-laced retelling of the plot, I don't recall him saying Frank Cross did nothing wrong.

He did compare himself to Cross though, eg "in my early Youtube career thinking my crap didn't stink and I was hot stuff" etc.

But maybe younger Phil didn't get the message and 2023 Phil had a different take.

I'd have to look it up but I think that tidbit came from Pandalee, who was also the source for Phil crying when the black Tiny Tim equivalent says "God blesses everyone". Regardless it's not like Phil hasn't retconned his retarded takes before, and he tends not to fully understand what things mean. See him completely misunderstanding what a "rainy day fund" was.

In hindsight given what a clownshow that shitty podcast has become (or rather, what it always has been) Phail's pigheaded nature lead him to take the W on that one. Then again there's so much fake and gay kayfabe on that show that Phail could've finally lived his dream of being a pro wrassling heel, something that always backfired on him in the past, especially when he was in the FGC.
Doesn't matter if the show is good. Actually it's better if it's bad. Means it'll die sooner and you can keep the money. It's like Shroud getting paid millions to stream on a new platform, then the platform died within a couple months and he walks away with free money.

Just curious because him saying Bill Murray did nothing wrong is a new one to me. Any time I've heard him bring up Scrooged, he talks about how the character is a jerk who fires people for no reason etc.

Be pretty bad if he totally misunderstood his fav movie so I wanted to hear that for myself. Sounds hilarious.

I actually just watched a clip of that a few minutes ago, in which he laments about how he could be playing the Marvel vs. Capcom Collection today if Capcom weren't a bunch of idiots, because they might release the game during his hardcore gaming season or whatever the fuck.
I want to point out how abso-fucking-lutely dented Phil is for thinking there was any chance they would do an "available now/tomorrow" type announcement for the game at Evo. The game is getting physical release, which many people preordered already. I'm sure Phil himself "covered" that during one of his "gaming news" ""podcasts"".
Does Mr. Business Degree not understand that doing a surprise digital store release before the physical release couldn't possibly happen because it would fuck over their retail partners?
I can understand being disappointed that the game didn't get a release date, but thinking that the game would be coming out in days rather than weeks/months is nonsensical.

Just in case you care about it, here is my conclusion:

I estimate, the maximum Boogie could have gotten, was about 80K (that is the most generous estimation)

While I'm here though:
There was a bit of Dsp lore, that was always funny to me, but I can't really remember it anymore.
I believe, he demonetized his own channel, or couldn't get the payments anymore, because he had it linked to some his google+ account or something?

I can't really remember it, but I believe Metokur talked about it once in some IBS stream. Anyone know, what that was and link me to a thread or something?
The Keemstar Lolcow Podcast offer was $50K and that was just a straight signing bonus.

Yeah, the Google+ thing was a pretty hilarious arc. His Google+ account was b& for "spam" because DSPGaming and his Google+ account were linked, so every time he uploaded one of his about 20 videos a day at the time it would make a Google+ post. His channel was down for like half a day. When he got it back up he unprivated all his videos. . .including his masturbation stream which he kept on his channel so that he could copyright strike anyone who uploaded clips of it. . .and he got a strike for having a video of himself masturbating on his channel lol. Pretty funny arc.

Thank you.
Yeah, that was it.

Phil's two streams yesterday were "saved" by "Iron Chef Sakai" Phil now calls a $37 tip a "big, big tip."
He is "only" asking for 100$ a day so if someone contributes a third of that it is definetly big. Though for yesterday this whale contributed basically 70% of his total tip income
