Yeah, it was very performative. Notice that whenever he stops to take a sip of his mountain dew (which happens constantly) in-between screaming, jumping, desk-pounding freakouts he is completely calm and relaxed before going right back into the unhinged screaming. He can't maintain the act consistently. I'm sure his ego is injured and he is actually angry at having his fake abuse questioned, but he is in control of his tantrums.

I don't think Boogie sees Dezi the way a man sees his wife, I think he just sees her as a longterm prostitute, someone to use. I think that's how Boogie sees all people to a degree.
He did that a bit, he said Muta was the one trying to force him to talk about his abuse, it's the same thing Keem highlighted about the phonecall, he acts begrudging and hesitant but if people don't actually want to do it, he'll try and get them to do it. He wants to talk about the abuse, but he wants to seem like he doesn't want to.
My guess is sentiment. The replacement would never be the original.
