I remember from the 2016 race that Kamala debates really well (even if you disagree with her viewpoint). I heard one pundit today say that both sides would be much better off to focus ALL of their energies on campaigning in the key states instead of debating at all.

And if Trump starts crowing about how "It's about time Sleepy Joe stepped aside, he knew he couldn't beat me!" remember that it's coming from a gigantic crybaby who wouldn't accept that he lost an election fair and square*, wasted taxpayer money demanding recounts, and incited an insurrection. The issue with those attack lines plays up to Trump's core base, but the only way he can win is to put off undecided voters who were never going to vote for him but may vote for Kamala. I do see him using it because he loves playing up to his base,. I just don't see it harming her much.
