Braille skateboarding, YouTube's biggest skateboarding channel, is imploding in a spectacular manner. Viewership in the toilet, employees are jumping ship (with some openly shit-talking braille), and ending their warehouse lease due to finances are just some of the ongoing trashfires.
The entire audience has turned against Aaron Kyro, the creator of Braille, for several reasons. Firstly, he allegedly ran cover for an employee named Carlos who would come to teach skate lessons drunk and groped an underaged girl.
Aaron also donated $1million to scientology in order to become the most powerful scientologist in the San Fransisco bay area. This is especially disgusting since Aaron claimed he couldn't afford to keep the warehouse that they had been filming their videos at for years, and employees felt they were underpaid.
When it was time to close up shop at the warehouse, he had the park demolished before any of the employees or collaborators who had made memories there had a chance for a final farewell skate session.
Many long-time employees (4-10 years) saw the writing on the wall a few months ago and bailed in quick succession, with some parting amicably, others tossing sneak disses, and a couple explicitly calling Aaron out for his Scientology bullshit.
In the past few days, a few of the Ex-employees noticed that they were blocked by Aaron on all social medias, most likely being told to "disconnect" from them by his Scientology handlers.
Just today, Aaron Kyro's board and wheels disappeared from his sponsor's website mysteriously, I guess they're cutting ties with him.
