Ironically enough, from who I know, the cult took by now 3 different men who did not know each other. Those graduated difficult high schools and got a real uni degree in useful fields and have good paying jobs. It really is an interesting conundrum. I’ve seen many possible explanations offered all across the interwebs, the main thing is the vulnerable mind caused by any or all of these- Mental illness, autism, trauma, sexual dysfunction.

Intelligence seems hit and miss… some come across as intelligent enough, but the way they’ve found a comfort in literally defying nature and then defending this delusion cancels out any perceived intelligence.
