US ELECTION DAY (TRUMP VICTORY) - Every country has the government it deserves

So the colonies are picking a new govenor general or whatever they call them to replace the kenyan fellow they had last time.

The choice this year is between a ginger tax dodging democrat oaf and a reptoid dynastic politician up to her neck in lies and corruption. As ever the contest between red and blue has been riveting, with much grabbing of pussies and hiding of emails.

We have a thread charting the campaigns but the big day deserves its own thread.

Who are you voting for? Who will win?

How many kiwis will lose the rag and get banned?

Please clap

From the reading I've done, Clinton can sustain some fairly substantial losses of electoral votes and still make it across the 270 line. :|

Yeah She doesn't need Florida just all of her Firewall and NV (Ev looks like she's bagged it). However if She underperformed and lost NH then she'd be in trouble. She cant lose anything else after that.

NORTH CAROLINA: TRUMP +142,000 OVER ROMNEY EARLY VOTING

November 7, 2016

Another dramatic turn of events is being reported out of North Carolina this afternoon: Donald Trump has jumped past all expectations in early voting!

In 2012, Romney hit Election Day down 447,000 votes, based on early ballots. He went on to win the state by 97,000 votes.

Now, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal, Trump opens Election Day down 305,000!

EDITOR’S NOTE: A poll going into this week had Trump nearing 50% in the Old North state.

Developing…

It is inconceivable that she win Florida. The energy here is just too high and the Cubans aren't afraid of being deported.

Yeah she's had a notable uptick in polling. 538 odds are now 72% to 28%
I've pointed out to you numerous times that that map is including ridiculous outliers, but you choose not to believe me. Even when I play by your numbers games you don't care. If I showed you the LA Times Daybreak showing Trump up 6% nationally you'd cry foul.

Floridian here. Ask the Al Gore and Kerry how funny it is to them.

"Feudalism - It's your count that votes!"

Tbh that poll is a real outlier. It has a special methodology that's broken so It's always biased towards trump.

Clinton has always lead the vast majority of national polls. The only two that dont give her leads are IBD/TIPP and La times. Those are the outliers this election

Except the LA Times Daybreak poll was one of the most accurate polls of 2012, whereas that NH poll is not only over a longer period of time with fewer people, but it's discrepancy from the other polls is close to 15 points.

This is only their second election so we'll see how well they hold up. They've shown Clinton up too.

I predict a Brexit style upset that will provide a tsunami of salt that will dwarf the British and European reactions. It will be like nothing we will ever see again.

May God have mercy on us all.

Yes It has but because of its house effect its always had a trump bias. The poll is structured differently this year. Perhaps its correct its just so pit of line with the other polls.

Tbf everyone likes claiming that their poll is the most accurate. I've seen it everywhere. However you could give that distinction to the IBD poll, That really was one of the most accurate last time. I wonder what happened to their methodology this year.

I've got a bad feeling we'll be kneeling to the lizard overlords by tomorrow, but I suppose the world will keep spinning.

Fun Fact: In Australia, there’s a tradition of holding a fundraising sausage sizzle at polling places on election day. #democracysausage is trending on the Twitter.

Trump starts off 90,012 (ETA: updated at 9 am counts to 90,111 . . .) votes in the hole in Florida today between cast early and mail in ballots between his Republican party and Clinton's democratic party, another 2000 down from yesterday morning.

https://countyballotfiles.elections...eports/AbsenteeEarlyVotingReports/PublicStats

He'd have to reel off a major share of unaffiliated with the two major party votes to not be down pretty signifcantly before the polls opened today and I don't think he did, so he's probably closer to the 100,000 range of being down in actual votes with only an estimated 30%-ish left to be cast today. (ETA: Math shows that for every 1% the early votes outside the two majors parties breaks from a 50/50 split for either candidate means an additional 14,156 votes swings the way of the one gaining the advantage, so Trump would have to win 56.4% of the outside the two party system votes cast to start even just for the day if every major party vote stayed on ticket.)

It's going to be a suspense-less 9th tomorrow.
