What's everyone's issues with restreamers and making money off of Phil? I've seen this numerous times throughout the years on here. Is there some logic as to why it's bad to make off of Phil? I don't personally donate or superchat or membership to anyone for anything, but I don't really care if someone does or a streamer/restreamer does it. I also like the background noise of someone talking through Phil's streams. His actual content is fucking horrendous and I enjoy the breakdowns by different people on what they think Phil is saying/doing, etc. The only raw phil restreams I can stomach are SF6 because Phil is a man baby, tard raging at the slightest slight to his ego.
I'm the first one to shit on Doody for being a faggot and one of the worst detractors, but I really don't care if he makes money off of Phil. My only issue is when the restreamers start to touch the cow directly. Whether that's through encouraged actions or directly doing something, that shit is gay and very unfun.
So what am I missing? Why do some here hate these people and them making money off the pigroach? My guess is there are valid reasons and I'm just missing them.

I personally also don't give a shit about whether someone grifts off of Phail, or any cow for that matter. I don't do it (nor would I, making khantent on that retard would be exhausting) and I had a hang up about it in the past, but eventually I realized that if you can get the bag, then go get the fucking bag, even if it's just a side hustle that gets you a little fun money.

My reasons are about the same as with all other Youtubers - if it's too obvious you're doing it for the money, or it hurts the kahntent, or it's exploitative of the audience. Outside of that, it's my choice to strap in the ad block or just not donate to whoever.

You sort of touched upon it with Doody. IMO, Doody is one of the worst detractors, but part of why he's so bad is because, just like Phil, he's essentially "chasing day one views" to try and cash in, without actually putting any thought or effort into his streams. Except his version of day one views is basically Phil rants or whatever.
We talk about it every so often here, but there can be weeks, if not months, where Phil goes through dry spells. During those times, his streams are all more or less the same and blend together. There's still little things to talk about, which works fine for forum posts, but it puts monetized detractors in a difficult spot. They need to cover Phil drama to make money, but there's only like a few minutes max of video content to put out, so they have to resort to making their own content, which can lead to long, meandering videos about nothing, or speculation videos passed off as facts.
This obviously doesn't apply to every detractor, but you can generally tell which ones are following Phil just to make money versus the ones that do it more as a hobby. So I think, for me at least, it's really less about them making money and more them producing low quality content. Like, if there was a restreamer that just hosted Phil's stream and somehow had an OIC figure that was donating $200 every day, I don't think people would stop watching it or say that it sucks. But if that hypothetical dude started doing hour long prestreams to cover previous Phil drama, or make speculation videos every other day and included links to donate in the video description or whatever, they'd probably start to sour on that person because there's rarely enough Phil content to warrant making that many videos, so there's bound to be a quality drop.

I said this before but I don't mind people leeching off of a leech. As long as the content is entertaining they can monetize the pigroach all they want.
There's a whole industry based on making better content from DSP's shit content, whether it's music, artwork, documentaries or just restreams with commentary over it, and as long as it's entertaining me they can make all the Argentine pesos they want.

It's only really bothersome when they're doing it in stupidly hypocritical manners like Suprcrzy or when they're people who are clearly no better than Phil themselves like that pedo Ravensdolphin.
It does get old when they posture that they don't care about the money, but then use FOMO marketing tactics designed to garner more money because at that point, they're putting up a dishonest front. Besides that, who cares?

Agree! If you wanna make money off of the pigroach by restreaming him, cool. Just be entertaining, is all. Hell, there's so many detractors that have gone into other things like you mentioned, like making music - Meerket comes to mind with his music and some of his music slaps, Kool-Aid girl comes to mind - along with others that even DSP REEacted to, like DSP the Toxic Video Game Guy, which was a parody song of the AVGN theme song. Also, I love how he got his friend IRL to agree to play the pigroach, along with getting his mannerism's down pat. The only insult Phil had was that the guy was fat. That and the G.U.Y. statue that DarksyDePhil created, as he does work in the toy industry and ItsAGundam painted for charity that sold for $5,000!
Point being, if you wanna make some extra coin laughing at the pigroach, do it. Just don't be Doody about it.

It's because most restreamers are shit and offer nothing insightful, entertaining, or transformative enough to justify their existence. They're nothing more than glorified live react channels that pull an insufferable holier-than-thou attitude when going over Phil. Like we get it dude, Phil's a scumbag and you're better than him; same as everyone else. Get better material.
In fact they're objectively worse than Phil because while Phil at least does his own thing and has his own schedule, these restreamers just exclusively ride off of his coattails to prop up their own channel that would clearly get 0 engagement if they didn't go for an easy demographic like Phil's detractors.

That makes zero sense. Watching Phil unfiltered is absolutely miserable. Even the worst (and they are very terrible) restreamers, with sound effects galore and cringe as fuck 'react' bullshit, improve the situation by, oh, at least a factor of 10.
You could literally film a pig oinking in the corner next to the stream and you wouldn't be worse. I really have a hard time thinking of anyone being less entertaining and more miserable than raw unfiltered Phil. Other lolcows like Chris-chan or Boogie at minimum offer some excitement. DSP is just watching paint dry.
