Today I learned it's pacifism when you cheer for someone you dislike nearly getting attacked.
On a sidenote, Jeffrey Grimes, whoever that is, is doing a piss poor job. Terri Euterpe is far more on mark, I'd say.

I like to imagine that every time Dobson makes a tweet like that, he immediate rushes over to his window and waits for bueatiful lesbians to turn up in pairs at his door to tell him what a good boy he is.

On top of that giving out unwarranted and meaningless advice when his art skills aren't that good. It's annoying and rude.
I'm not surprised that he would claim to be a Wonder Woman fanboy due to her being a "feminist icon" although there's much more to her than being "iconic" but I wonder how he'd react to the fact that she was created by a white male inventor.
Also, he draws Obama as Superman. I thought he hated Superman?

And conveniently left out this conversation between the two in the same two-part episode.
Hawkgirl: Aresia is just taking her precious Amazon code to it's logical extension.
Wonder Woman: We don't teach hatred.
Hawkgirl: Except when it comes to men.
Also the ending, where it's revealed that the villainess only ended up on Themiscyra because the male captain of the ship that she was on dragged her to the shore and died saving her after it sank, and she has a breakdown and dies.
That said, the episode itself is really dumb, with how willing the villainesses are to kill all the dudes.

Yes, as well as his belief that society would become more female dominated in the near future. The original goal of Wonder Woman was to create a hero that represented that vision of the future for young girls. Instead of being violent, she would be all about compassion.
Getting her powers from female sources, rather than a male figure. She doesn't have a father, she is a clay figure given life and was raised solely by women.
Representing truth... Okay, I'm going to stop now. Wonder Woman has pretty much become the antithesis of what what she was originally supposed to stand for. She was meant to fight the god of war, not become the goddess of war.

I don't even know what goes on with WonderWoman anymore. Last time I ever got invested in her, I was but a wee Prinny watching whatever the Remote Lord chose.
All I remember is the catchy theme song and she does the spinny thing.
I don't remember man hating being a thing, but maybe my brain hadn't grown its comprehension gland yet and I missed it.
But just like every super hero, they get rebooted so often by so many people with so many agendas catering to so many different people; it's hard to tell what's even canon and what's pandering anymore.

Man-hating is only a thing with Wondy when Frank Miller writes her. He portrayed her as some sort of psychotic lesbian who saw men as "sperm-banks". Until Superman fucked her and then she was straight as a ruler.

Frankly I've given up on the newer comics, it almost feels like marvel and dc comics always have to have a political statement whether it be feminism or sexuality. It's like story comes second, pandering comes first.

Yeah. You know those golden bracelets on her arms? They lock together when her energy runs low hence why Diana is always seen tied up or captured until she can recharge or something like that. (its been years since I've last read WW, so correct me if I'm wrong) @Kamen Rider Black RX also wrote an excellent post on the purpose of Wonder Woman which follows up to my comment. Pardon me if I've gotten us off topic.
Those are the type of comics that Dobson will only read and praise. They don't even have to be written by women creators, just as long as feminism/"strong flawless female characters" are the main focus, he declares it to be a progressive masterpiece, whether it has a good story or not.

I dont know how anyone could be complacent with reading a shit story just because you agree with the views written. How boring must that be? Only consuming entertainment because you agree with its message no matter how shitty it may be.
