Speaking of those of African descent specifically.

The shameless theft of other people's histories and cultures never fails to drive me up the walls. From personal experience, I find actual Africans don't tend to be nearly as bad for doing this, and they actually get pretty embarrassed by it. But the amount of black Americans and Brits I've encountered that buy hook line and sinker into the 'we wuz' shit is just embarrassing.

And it's not just the Egypt larp either, I literally had a she-nigger from the UK tell me Ireland had a long history of black people living there, and that I wasn't indigenous to my own country because the 'original inhabitants' were black, according to her. It was one of the few times I've gotten close to chimping out irl.

I know what you're on about, I'm from Ireland myself. The Spanish Armada theory was disproved a while back as there weren't enough survivors from the wreckage to leave a significant enough mark on the local gene-pool. I'm not sure if this counts but when someone who doesn't speak English starts to have a conversation with each other and instead of whispering or staying somewhat quiet, they speak as if nobody is in the store/waiting room.

I still remember being blown away by the endless miles of highway dotted with billboards telling people not to kill themselves or smoke meth. Then the 'towns' would appear in the distance. First the gigantic McDonald's sign towering 100 feet in the air would be visible 100 miles away still then Burger king, arby's, the gas station which doubled as the only place to buy groceries and like 10 churches and a bunch of houses and pretty much nothing else for hundreds of miles in any direction. No hospitals, no schools, no nothing you'd expect in a small rural town. I've been to small towns and shit but those ones we drove through in America were some pretty depressing places that I couldn't really even figure out how people existed in them.

I moved out of a shit hole small town that describes this to a T. The only way people get through it is with meth, alcohol, ignorance, and any cope they can come up with to hate “outsiders”. White trash Americans are just as bad as many third worlders. You just don’t see them much outside of shithole towns.

I went to high school with assimilated Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi kids who were mostly friends of mine. How fecking dare she. Anyway, I remember the BBC did a documentary on the Cheddar Man, and refreshingly, for them, I don't think they said he was black. He was from 7,000-12,000 years ago, and a lot of people had moderately-very tanned skin, because of leftover pigment genes from South East Asian/African/Mediterranean/Middle Eastern peoples.

The only literally "Black" Irish people I know of, are Ruth Negga and Samantha Mumba, LOL. But then, they're half Caucasian.
