A very small percentage of the fans who stuck around supposedly did. Even then I believe they were just there primarily to virtue signal, when the only ACTUAL reason they stuck around was out of nostalgia for the thoroughly "done with this shit" OG cast.

Everyone else who found them to be grating had already moved on or moved on when they started dominating the docket. There is after all a reason RT is shutting down.

While getting things right so your product gets promoted by YouTube is not easy, understanding the core of how YouTube works is not that complicated.

YouTube wants to make money, thus it actively prioritizes content which makes it money and lets content which doesn't languish.

Get a high number of unique viewers per month (very good! have some better CPMs!), get a lot of views and watch time from those views (good! - this is the make an engaging product part), make dishonest thumbnails so people click on the video then immediately click off (bad!), get people to stay on YouTube after they watch a video (very good!), actively promote people to leave for another site (very bad!), accept embedded adds which require you turn off YouTube adds for the video (very bad!), over-saturate your audience with videos (bad!).

I could tolerate Fiona. The attempts to prop her up were annoying, but she had moments where she'd calm down and just try to enjoy herself in the games. She really was Mica 2.0, not a good fit but, to me at least, not annoying enough to make me quit the channel.
