Rage quitting in a casual match has to be the most absolute bitchmade act someone can commit in a fighting game.
Phil's fragile ego can't handle the fact that he's shit at fighting games. If he ever does actually get on Fightcade, it's going to be one session and sent straight to banworld. Followed by a long rant about how shit GGPO is, and how everyone that plays on Fightcade is a sweaty nolifer that has been playing the games on there nonstop for years, followed by a cope of how he could totally wipe the floor with them if it weren't for the fact that he's a variety streamer that doesn't have time to git gud at fighting games due to his hectic schedule and loving family life.

Who are these people who get games early and spoils them. I know people get to review a game early. Since that makes sense make sure people know if the game is good or not. But who are these other people he's talking about

Man, I remember when he used to actively play fighting games, he went out of his way to not dashboard(aka actually rage quit)in fighting games(When he was playing SF 4 and dashboarded, I assume he got called out for it and vowed to never do it again). Sure, he'll stop playing in the middle of the match in some cases, but not once did he dashboard on his opponents(unless he did in the past, I've never seen those moments/can't remember). Even when he first started playing SF 6, he didn't dashboard on his opponents. Now, since returning to SF 6, he's just going full LTG.

Not sure what changed with Phil(probably his ego becoming even more fractured combined with him getting more unhinged lately), but I welcome the change from DarkScrubPhil to LowTearPhil.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think he ever dash boarded in SF4. Only on a really unfunny April fools day video where he's painfully unfunny in his acting. But I'd also argue that giving up and saying "just kill me" is rage quitting too

If he was doing a bit, it didn't occur to me. It seemed to me he was being genuine and used April Fools as an excuse so he can say "it wasn't a rage quit, it was a joke". I don't know, maybe I've been wrong this whole time.

yeah this was posted on April 1st, and maybe im just very autistic when it comes to Philisms but thats not what Phil sounds like when he rages. Not enough calling him a human piece of shit, not saying he's using a cheap character or the tried and true nothing I could do.

It is kinda similar to his SRK days of asking for money matches, but then declining all of them because either
A) He knows the player is too good and would 100% win

B)He didnt know who the player was and didnt want to risk losing

C)He had a playe who he knew he could beat and accepted but didnt like the set up wither it was a japanese machine or console port he didn't like

Then he'd cry later in the Money Match thread that No One would play him and since he was the best player in Connecticut and that he couldn't get propper training like Justin Wong from NY or the guys in Cali. and thats why he didnt do better consistently outside his region

If he did play fightcade and only played ST and put in the minimal effort needed to hide the chat box from the stream and only stream the game play. For the first stream hed probably challenge like C-B ranked players and say that he needs to get his groove back. He'd probably win most matches but still complain that moves were dropped or that the game is laggy. As soon as he fights anyone who is like B-A rank and they start beating him he'd come out with the excuses of "oh this guy mastered the lag, No that doesnt work offline moron, Wheres my moves dood come on!" and then he'd say that this was exactly as expected and send it to ban world

Honesty the one thing id love to see on Fightcade is people like Justin Wong or Valle who stream on it regularly kick his ass or to see DSP run from their invites.
