It's best played with friends to chat, while watching a video/movie or solo when streamsniping someone.

Survivor gameplay is mostly watching a progress bar get filled and sometimes being in a chase.

Killer gameplay is more engaging.

The thing about music licenses is they have to renew them after the contract is up. That's what happened to Alan Wake and why Deadpool was removed from Steam. When they didn't have the rights to the song anymore they can't sell the game as is.

But it's Illfonic/Gun, so I don't know why they didn't try, the game'll be dead long before the contract will end.

I like the game, but it's so fucking tedious how every patch to fix something in the game just breaks a bunch of other things. The lobbies are still terrible. They released a new victim, but not a new killer, so the lobbies are absolute dogshit right now. Everybody wants to play the new victim, and nobody wants to play family. They were told this would happen, but did nothing about it. And the new victim's skill tree is bugged right out the gate too.

I just hope Killer Klowns isn't gonna be plagued by this same type of shit. Gun isn't involved in that game, so I'm holding out hope.

Only 1 tree that works, recolors unavailable and Vagina's voicelines are bugged.

+ GUNT/Ilffonic went on vacation + deleting reddit posts warning others about not buying Vagina's DLC yet.

Edit: in DbD they returned DS stun to 5s (guess they wanna get Halloween DLC sales again) and Twins got nerfed/buffed in some shit way.

I wish there'd be a ruling that prevents shit like releasing non-playtested updates, unoptimized cuntent and bitchy moderators.

I'm potentially interested in giving DBD another go but, with how impressively cancerous that community is, I kind of want to just play in the most toxic ways imaginable so they go MATI. Any advice? I know they hate the everloving shit out of Skull Merchant, but an update made gen regressions limited, so presumably the "it's like playing chess" idea wouldn't work out well.

Oh, rest assured she is still fucking grating to play against even with the gen regression changes. Survivors don't really understand her that well. Keep in mind she got reworked like 3 patches ago and her power no longer works the same, it's still a clusterfuck but it's no longer chess tier. Basically you place drones and they now make survivors build stacks over time which injures and slows them down, but because BHVR lacked any kind of balance foresight (again) you can just spam them endlessly which makes some indoor maps like Gideon's Meat Plant borderline unplayable against her.

Chucky too is absolutely despised because he is extremely easy to play as and has many advantages most other killers don't. For some reason they decided to give him the ability to jump over pallets and windows extremely fast while in his power with basically no downsides, it's literally better than legion without any of the downsides legion has. The fact that he is 110% is completely irrelevant because his hitbox is so tiny he can hug walls in such a way survivors don't make that much distance.

To be honest any killer will do as long as you don't follow any made up rules.

I like Hex Pentimento, Haunted Ground, Undying, Retribution. If they just do gens and gtfo the match will be pretty fast depending on hoe fast they do the gens. It only gets bad for survivors if they touch totems at all. If they do gens it doesn't really work, but they are doing gens and trying to leave. If they touch things but the gens...I've encountered the new gen blocking by the entity. Slug people. For some reason mori's piss people off. Play killers with a special mori like Pyramidhead and Sadako. Myers with his tombstone..

I jumped on the free weekend, because i wanted to play without giving GUN any money. It's even fucking worse the new survivor is complete cancer in the arse. I never got a victim match it was purely family. I enjoyed it but fuck it was unbalanced, the new map is cancer for new players too. Got my fun out of it for weekend left a shit review and dumped it.

Shame cause it was actually fairly good compared to F13.
