I’ve never had a Twinkie. I haven’t abstained for any specific reason, I just never had any. If they taste like how I imagine, I might’ve enjoyed them as a kid. Now, as an adult with a lower goyslop tolerance, I have no desire to put that shit into my body.

If you do ever want to try a Twinkie, I recommend trying one cold and then trying it roasted like a marshmallow over an open fire. It makes it taste like really sweet corn bread. Not something to eat regularly but worth a try.

As for the thread topic generally, I've never had Wendy's or Popeye's or Church's. Ive also never drank 211 Steel Reserve or MD 20/20. I might try a Steelie one day on a lark but I'll never drink mad dog. Fuck that.

Chick-Fil-A. There's always a fucking line wrapping around all the buildings in every location i go to that has one but I've never had their food before.

Roasted Twinkie sound pretty damn delicious and I usually don't like Twinkies.
Popeyes chicken is pretty good but their gravy sucks, it's like drippings from their stupid beans and taste like just beans.

I've never had a Dr. Pepper but I don't remember Dr. Pepper being a soda that was heavily marketed or easy to find in Canada until well into my adult years.

I suspect Dr. Pepper might have been like Jolt Cola when I was a kid in terms of Canadian distribution in that it was available in Canada in limited quantities but you had to know where to find it. (My mother used to sometimes take us to this long-closed convenience store that had a specialty soda section that did include Jolt, which I never saw anywhere else.)

I don't think Jolt had as wide a distribution as most other sodas in America, at least 20 years ago. It was not hard to find, but it was not like a Coke where you could find it at every store. I recall it tasted like any other generic cola.

You don't understand how much I envy you right now. That's not say Dr. Pepper is horrible. My brother is addicted to that soda he can drink multiple daily. It's below average in my opinion. Even chilled and poured into a cup with ice it has a funny taste. But I guess that's the cinnamon flavoring. I did, however, enjoy the Dr. Pepper cream version. It was like a cinnamon root beer float that tasted really sweet.

I second Chick-Fil-A. Well, I did attempt to dry an old breakfast biscuit my weird uncle handed me. He said he gotten it earlier that day and it looked no different from the familiar McDonald's breakfast sausage biscuit. It tasted how it looked: old. So I'll won't count that as trying Chick-fil-A. I have one practically next door that replaced a Boston Market that was underperforming, now cars are lined out the block for chicken sandwiches or In-N-Out hamburgers. Long story short, the traffic sucks! But I would eventually try a sandwich when it's not so busy. The ads make em look basic but I like that. Keep it simple stupid.

I've never had an original Monster energy drink. I've tried and enjoyed nearly every other flavor they produce, but I've never had an inclination to try the classic.

I like cinnamon in small amounts in pastries (or in Hot Tamales candy, not that I've had that in at least a decade) but I have a hard time imagining a cinnamon soda being refreshing.

I've never had any big can energy drinks and I've only even had a few small cans of Red Bull in my life. I'm not an energy drink fan, I have enough trouble sleeping at night as it is and, even when I have to get up super early, I'd rather just have tea.

KFC outside of America is actually pretty decent, still not a great representation of fried chicken though imo.
