I'm whitepilled on DSPolitics even if he's a fencesitting bitch like Boogie(RIP). Phil is an expert on everything regardless of whether he just heard about it for the first time five minutes ago so you know he's gonna see headlines on twitter and give extended rants the next day about how everyone invahlved is stoopid. It's going to be so much better than toxic rants about videogame developers or retelling his day off and going over his fast food order in excruciating detail.


DSPgaming is doing really bad too. Only the odd video is scraping the 1k mark even after a couple days, usually a Level 1 Podcast video that the tractors use for their content.

I think DSP likes streaming more than just for the money in that it lets him hold court over the dents and make authoritative proclamations-- in his head of course-- while also serving as his only outlet and therapy. It's why I think he would/will continue streaming even if the streams make no money, the last dent has left and his only audience left is larpers and detractors.

Seems like this is a primary motivation for a lot of lolcows. They get addicted to having a community where they get to be the top guy, and will delude themselves to any degree to keep it that way. It happens in lots of other contexts like Discord mods. Even just for a group of less than 20 people, being in charge gets to their head and they get power high. That's why CWC refused to get off the dang internet even when it was the source of incredible pain and embarassment. The alternative was to give up all the attention and recognition, and the longer they've been doing it, the less and less they can handle it.

It's safe to assume DSPolitics will be like his recent Kotaku rant. Absolutely no preparation and just him skimming literal Tweets and headlines with no context for what they mean. And all of it will be done just so he can vent his own frustrations.

There is something incredibly ironic about him whining about spoiled kids who don't face reality and expect fancy jobs right out of college at some university when he was and is literally that same exact person.

Is there a topic that Phil can talk about and not sound like a complete moron? Even when he's talkin about what he had door dash deliver for lunch he just sounds retarded.
