Because firstly, how the hell could a trans voice actor be asked to do both male and female voices for a single character in a horror game and NOT know what the likely outcome of that was going to be? So obviously the voice actor is lying and just trying to turn the situation to their own advantage.

And whomever at the developer that made this character HAD to know what they were doing and how it was going to look, didn't they? So was this a case of gross stupidity or did some employees actively try to sabotage their woke employer?

And the inevitable reaction of the social justice warriors proves how the entire thing is just a scam to score political points. A woke company that regularly engages in rainbow capitalism was beloved by their fans, until one day they got #canceled for doing the very thing everyone was demanding all along. The cycle cannibalizes it's own people as soon as it determines there is more to be gained from their sacrifice than their contribution.

As a big horror fan, I can assure you the hobby has always been a massive gathering place for people who get off on being off-putting freaks. Troonery is just the latest flavor of people coming into the space and making everything about them.
