Then again, Russ will probably still drudge out all his plights even if they're stricken, and still argue about "but somehow I'm the convicted one!"
There’s some magical world where Null’s counsel manages to get Greer to try to give his full testimony in the form of a musical number performed by The Accommodations and that all gets entered into public record and I can only weep that our gay world will never allow that to be.

If either party files a motion to stay pending SCOTUS, and the district court grants it, it does.
So Mr. Plaintiff could instead of just said: "I have been informed that this is being appealed to the Supreme Court and wish to request a stay pending outcome of that appeal." and probably would have been approved.

Instead of writing several pages of unhinged ranting. Although it is fun reading.

This is what big boy lawyers have to deal with, Russell. You should've paid more attention in law school.

boo hoo.png
This is why Rusty is one of my favorite cows. He always produces top quality content.

Russ, you picked this fight. To use your metaphor, you told Josh to fight you in a boxing ring because you think you're a professional fighter and, because Josh isn't, you thought you had an easy win. But Josh found a professional fighter (Matthew Hardin) willing to fight on his behalf, and you're only now starting to realize how out of your depth you really are.

Drop the lawsuit, my dude.

bawl.png
This is a doozy of a tantrum. "I'm a big boy lawyer except not really, I don't want to do the extra work, just give me what I want!"

sobs.png
My dude. My nigga. I'm going to say this as simply as I can:

NOBODY FORCED YOU TO FILE PRO SE.

Kiwi Farms didn't use its secret mind-control ray on you. Nobody held a gun to your head. That was you. It's your own fault that you didn't consider Josh would hire a real lawyer to fight back.

Proposed schedule, I suppose, because that is the only date that fits (by his inaccurate calculations). The date is only a day off

Actually I think he's just retarded.

The Answer was filed on 2024-01-17. He must think his deadline is 21 days from that date.

Utah R. Civ. P. 12 states "if a reply is ordered by the court, [the plaintiff must serve it] within 21 days after service of the order". Except the date of the order was on 2024-01-22 and the order specifically denied Russ request to file a Reply to the Answer.

Also, lmao, they aren't doing it for free anymore:

Well, of course they aren't.

I'd think Russ should at least have to proffer some evidence to show that he'll be able to obtain the funding he needs within the time frame that he's defined in his motion. Or does his entire premise for the motion to stay boil down to "just trust me bro"?

Does he realize
No.

I'd think Russ should at least have to proffer some evidence to show that he'll be able to obtain the funding he needs within the time frame that he's defined in his motion.
I imagine that would be between him and the ambulance chasers he's trying to recruit. I don't think it would matter unless the court specifically asked.

"Your honor, it will take plaintiff approximately 90 days to gather funds to drive out to Nebraska and New York, and give hand-jobs to Grimm and Keenan as retainer, respectfully."

Greer has the most wonderful writing for legal briefs. "He has to jump through hoops".

You know Greer, if you feel like having to do the bare minimum to sustain your lawsuit is akin to acting like a performing animal, you could always drop the case.

Or does his entire premise for the motion to stay boil down to "just trust me bro"?
Essentially, yeah.
I don't think it would matter
I disagree. Why does he need 90 days (60, but he wants 30 extra to be safe)? Where is the money coming from? Is that just 3 months worth of paychecks as original retainer? What happens when it runs out? Will he return to pro se? This is important to address to avoid it all being a massive waste of time
