🌟 Internet Famous Jirard Khalil / The Completionist / ThatOneVideoGamer - Obsessive Compulsive Autist involved in a $780k case of charity fraud

Surmises in this video that he may actually have hated his mother.

That would be immaterial. If hated his mother, that would actually mean he felt some kind of passion towards her, meaning he cared about her in some way that was human. Based on most of what this thread has put forward, Jirard's mother was nothing but a tool for him to become famous and a shield to hide behind when people threw criticism his way.

Think about it: besides knowing his mother died and had her body donated to some charity cause, what exactly does the average fan really know about Jirard's mother? Is Jirard filling his streams with stories about his mother raising him to be a good boy, teaching about how to get along with the kids, not to lie, cheat, or steal, etc.?

His mother is and always has been a tool to get famous and to emotionally manipulate his audience into donate money to him. In a way, this is objectively worse than just hating his mother. Because in order to hate someone, you have to give a damn about who they are as people.

It fills me with both joy and hatred to hear his terrified voice on that call. The desperate wavering in his tone, the exasperated grasping at straws while his lips moves faster than his mind. His need to fill the silence after he finishes a long ramble as he waits for Muta and Karl to give him some sort of approval or compassion only for Karl to give an unimpressed "okay and?" The fact that he knows he will never be able to recover his reputation not only because of the charity fraud itself, but the indignant aggression towards others after while knowing he was lying.

But the hatred comes in where he STILL can't see the forest for the trees. He goes on and on about wanting to "make this right" and please Muta and Karl to save his ass - not once does he mention being remorseful for lying to his millions of subscribers, fans, donators, and collaborators. He doesn't mention the "20 mouths to feed" until he needs to trot them out for a sympathy plea like a beggar sitting next to a dirty dog. He invokes his mother's memory two dozen times to remind them that his mom died 15 years ago. He's the epitome of not feeling bad for what he's done, he feels awful that he got caught.

He's not going to kill himself any more than any of these loser child predators do. They insinuate and imply that they're going to, but they won't because they don't actually get depressed over their actions - they are sorry they got caught and see themselves as the victim of "one mistake" they made.

I hope his family sets him up to be the fall guy here.

Edit: Posting fucked up and only had half of my reply before.

It gives me a nice warm fuzzy feeling listening to him desperately try to find the right words that will stop the story from going public, only for them to both say no. No, you don't get good boy points or a pity parade. You fucked around, and now there are consequences.

I know it's an incredibly low bar, but I imagine if someone without journalistic standards had found out this story, Jirard's sob story may have worked.

Here is a uhhh….wild read for anyone interested:

Maybe she is still in there? (Archive)

Some highlights:
-Jirard came from a rich family (that is obvious)

-Jirard's mother Karen became disenfranchised with motherhood around the time Jirard was ten
-Charles helped her start a music company
-Karen was terrible at running the business, and then she met a retired Kansas musician named Bill Head
-Bill and Karen started their own company, and took little Jirard with them on a music tour for 9 months
-Together Bill and Karen stole over $500,000 dollars of Charles money
-Jirard thinks there may be footage of him on a Trinity Broadcasting Network sermon getting smacked by a pastor
-Karen went from a stand up woman to a party girl
-Karen finally came home and demanded a divorce
-Charles only agreed if she went to a doctor
-Karen was diagnosed with frontal lobe dementia

Also, Charles can not help himself by humble bragging about price gouging gas:

Charles in Charge (Archive)

Not sure if this was posted on here, but a user on r/TheCompletionist2 by the name of misscocoa007, posted some interesting information about Charles Khalil.
If you want to find the source for most of this, the court case is Circle K Stores v. Golden W. Triangle, 2016 U.S. Dist. in California.

  1. Charles Khalil owns at least two gas stations/convenience stores in Los Angeles. Specifically in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica in very wealthy neighborhoods. There are media articles written about him justifying extremely high gas price charging. .
  2. The land the stores are on is worth MILLIONS of dollars...
  3. In 2013 ish, They were operating as a Circle K franchise and they had a 15 year agreement with the Khalils that it would operate as such for that amount of time.
  4. Charles tried to sell the two gas stations and the land to a developer...for 18 MILLION dollars.
  5. Circle K sued him in civil court, hence the above lawsuit for basically breach of contract and trying to sell the land to a developer. It's confusing on how that ended but the court dismissed one of the claims but three others continued.
  6. Charles Khalil still owns both gas stations and the land, If it was valued at 18 million in 2016 it would probably be worth more than double that now or more.
  7. At the time of this court case, the Khalil Family had their wealth structured as a trust named Charles R. Khalil And Kaaren R. Khalil Family Trust, While it is not uncommon for wealthy families to structure their wealth as a trust, it is strange the mother's name is still on it when she had passed away at this point.
Why would a VERY wealthy family like this start a charity and never use the money, never donate to any other charity, never donate any of their OWN money, and continually have charity golf events, all the Indieland stuff and yet never donate any of the money?

This whole situation is so strange...and there is no easy explanation for any of it...

Here is the link of them getting sued by the State of California for breaching Environmental Regulations at the gas stations for not properly telling consumers of the risk of cancer and unleaded gas. This is very recent (November 3rd 2023)

https://oag.ca.gov/system/files/prop65/notices/2023-03461.pdf

Another interesting tidbit. The two gas stations received nearly $200,000 in free loans from the U.S. government as pandemic aid. (Company Name is Golden Triangle West, Inc. Those loans were forgiven.

Why do gas stations need that much pandemic aid?

This is from the other thread.

This checks out. The way Jirard talks about his mother is so very...clinical. Nothing in this story strikes me as him having any emotional investment in either his mother or father. Looks like the relationship was reciprocal, though--all very clinical and not very intimate. In other words, no stories about how mommy tucked him in at night or tenderly kissed any scraped knees.

And you know what? It makes perfect sense why Jirard regards his fans the way he has in the last 10 years. That emotional investment in all his charity stuff has always been one way--he manipulated other peoples' emotions so they'd give him money, but he had zero emotional investment in the entire thing himself. It was all clinical, just like how his parents treated him.

This reminds me of Sidney Poitier's monologue in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. The analogy being that Jirard's family did their duty as parents to raise their children, put food on the table, made sure they were healthy, developed skills necessary to survive. But note that Jirard looks back at his mother and calls her a "strong woman." There's nothing here indicating he saw her as a son sees a mother, but he talks like he was employed in some family business and he respected his mother's ability to work within that business.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Finally, the whole wealthy family thing is something I believe a lot of his fans need to look at and consider when they're measuring his worth as a YouTuber. Like I've been saying in this thread, Jirard's story isn't the "rags to riches" tale he makes it out to be. I'm pretty sure the guy would have been well off no matter what he did--just because he had mommy, daddy, or family to back him up in case things went awry.

Ngl, I find it kind of sad that Jirard seems to be such a piece of shit, but it seems it is something of a family thing based on what was posted here.

Silly video just calling him fat for 10 minues.
to some fat fuck on Youtube named Jirard The Completionist. Now I'm tired of this fat fuck popping up in all my fucking search engines when I'm looking for a fucking workout video. I don't give a fuck about the aftermath from any of you Completionist fans that feel sorry for this greasy fuck.

You fat fucking disgusting ass smelling, blob, chees drinking, Crisco bathing, lard gargling, calorie thieving, cabbage patch face having, dr. robotnik looking, wing stop eating, mcdonalds gorging, t rex arm having, non vegetable eating, cook with a george forman grill just to drink out the drip tray, wide load, hungry hungry hippo, planet, pretending to have a fucking thyroid problem, whale/free willy, part bus, yokozuna, flubber, kirby, salad dodger, chair crusher, butterball, go to subway but put everything on it, Michelin man, happy because hostess is back in business mother fucker.

I know there's going to be a lot of people out there calling me a bully, but guess what? I"M NOT. I just don't feel sorry for fat fucking people, especially fat fucks who sit there all day, gorge and eat and make money for doing absolutely nothing, while a bunch of sorry fucks like yourselves play into it.

You don't like what the fuck I'm saying? Then fuck you!

The wildest thing about that damned phone call is how incredibly awkward it is. Muta and Karl are asking some pretty softball questions, and Jirard just melts the fuck down. Jirard has a nervous breakdown, and still alludes to the situation as simultaneously being “above board” but also career/life destroying. If everything was all fine and dandy with Indieland and Open Hand Foundation, doing the right thing and donating the money, apologizing, and moving on wouldn’t be such an awful fate. Jirard acts like is a death sentence. The fear in his voice was unnerving.

Clearly something is very, very wrong. I can’t really fathom why a public charity/private foundation (?) fund with 650k in it would be a slush fund to embezzle when their family is worth millions. The only thing I can wrap my head around why they would even be worried about people looking into this is because it’s a tax evasion operation. Even if it was, all they would have to do is donate the money and no one would think twice.

I have zero fucking clue what the fuck is going on now. This is beginning to look like a very dark episode of Dateline. Things are getting grim.

Jirard, a little real talk for your fat ass:

Being slightly racist while half drunk is nowhere near as bad as stealing over SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS from DEMENTIA PATIENTS over TEN YEARS. It's not even in the same galaxy, you fucking nincompoop.

At least you didn't show your weird dick to teenagers while dressed as sailor mercury, so you're not the worst of the Normal Boots alumnus.
