What the hell is Peating? - and why does this Ray character like orange juice so much?

I've seen mention of this stuff online and in health circles, but an explanation doesn't seem forthcoming.
With other diets it seems obvious.
Low carb = Fewer carbs
Keto = Lots of fat and protein, no carbs
Vegan = No animal products
So what's the deal with this Peating stuff?
 
lol. Peating, Peaty, etc is a reference to a guy named Dr. Ray Peat. He was a complete crack pot nutritionist who claimed some wild shit. The no fun-niks over at rational wiki have a page. At some point he got a forum dedicated that became a haven for schitzos and shit posters. Today he's mostly a meme used for making fun of people taking nutrition too seriously. There's no strict Peat diet, just some out lines like avoid unsaturated fats/vegetable oil and eating a lot of sugar. There's a few Peaters who are basically more insane versions of the Sun Your Balls guys.
