I still wouldn't be surprised if this is an elaborate bit after the cucking Sam did to iDubbbz with the fake abused girlfriend. That also took a lot of planning and work. The Sam Hyde meme spreads through negative publicity and long running drama, so this wouldn't be too much of an escalation.

I have an online friend who is an alcoholic. I know not to be too invested in the outcome if I plan to hang out on a call and chat or watch a movie with this particular human being. If I were to need to record him in an interview, it would be just that, a recording, not a livestream. I don't know how well Josh knew this Channing person beforehand, but I have to assume he had no idea she was an addict and that she would waste his time and/or reputation.

It's immensely unlikely that this is some kind of insane elaborate ruse that Sam Hyde pulled. The idubbbz gaslight happened because it was high-profile. There's no way Sam would do this insane long-con gayop on kiwifarms, especially to only have the climax be a completely unintelligible druggie that sandbags the whole stream. It makes way more sense that she was just nervous and did what all drug-addicts do when they're struggling with an emotion they don't like.
I think the only thing that's making the gayop idea pop into people's head is Sam's fake addict girlfriend. I think that bit spawned from his actual self-proclaimed experiences with fucked up BPD artist chicks like Channing, hence the coincidence.

Sam is aligned with Nick Fuentes, having appeared in each other's vids. If anything his biggest fans would probably celebrate him dipping his toes into hebephilia. A big "literally me" moment for a lot of those fatherless young aging men
