Except all of that falls apart when he himself states that he was aware of the money's mismanagement for a period of 2-ish years.

In fact I'd go as far as to say he was probably always aware. Which is completely fair. Healthy skepticism is a good thing to practice. That said, I feel as with something as blatant as this, there isn't really much room for doubt. That said I guess at best you can make the argument that he's being railroaded by his shrewd and shameless dad.

What I find suspicious personally however is many people are kinda dancing around this and no one seems to talk about it except for Muta and Karl + subreddits. It's being heavily slept on and a lot of people are downplaying it.

He doesn't though. Jirard outright admitted to knowing that the funds hadn't been dispersed in the call with Karl and Mutahar.

And it doesn't take an intelligent person to come up with this type of scam. They claimed to be raising money to donate to a charity, then kept the money. We know this from simply looking at publicly available records, and (in the case of the golf tournaments) material they put out themselves. The only reason they hadn't been caught is because it hadn't been looked into at all.
