🌟 Internet Famous Jirard Khalil / The Completionist / ThatOneVideoGamer - Obsessive Compulsive Autist involved in a $780k case of charity fraud

He also started covering this before KF and found some more damning evidence then the thread found. I would love for him to have the guts to cite KF but I dont think this is exactly a case of some poser jumping on and reading a thread for yt like other lolcow channels.
Kiwi Farmers will forever be pariahs for committing the crime of outing trannies as pedophiles. Sad truth

Indeed.

That said, I think I'm okay with us being kept in the shadows. That way, we can watch in safety whichever way the pendulum swings.

And in our heart of hearts, we know that the Farms are the unsung heroes when it comes to uncovering incriminating shit.

Jeez, I sound like a less retarded, less obsessed with child rape MamaMax.

Please excuse my spergery.

He's got a wife? And his main source of income is youtube? He probably makes less then Jim so seriously how does this work out? Is he living with mom/ dad? Does she WFH or just nothing?
Considering the size of his youtube channel (500k-1M views per video) he's making way more then jim with sponsorships easy 150k+(USD) a year
If Karl has to specify that he's the breadwinner AKA the one who actually makes the fucking money, then my guess is that she just...idk, exists?

Unless she got an OnlyFans and he's too ashamed to say that or something, idk.

I mean he did have to crowdfund his legal battle with Billy Mitchel, hence the constant videos on the lolsuit.
His wife is probably a stay at home mother, which doesn't make much sense when both parents don't ever leave the house, my best guess is she takes care of their son while he play video games/makes videos

Insane cope from a delusional Jirard simp:

https://archive.is/k3yoV
Note - I am not a "Jirard defender" or whatever, I do think he very clearly misled people repeatedly and that everything in the original videos is shady AF. Things need to be investigated and all the money needs to be accounted for.

That said let me lend some perspective from someone else in the business world who has donated to charity.

I think u/karl-jobst was a little too narrow-minded and said things with too much certainty in the latest video in trying to address discrepancies.

First: Just because the gold tournament put sponsors on a sign for a given year, like 2020, does not mean all those sponsors paid again for that year, or that they paid for the same level. For example, my company donated $5k to a local charity 3 years ago at their highest level of sponsorship. We are still listed at that highest level today on their site and in their marketing. I have no problem with that.

In fact I would be more annoyed if they removed us the next year simply because we didn't donate ANOTHER $5k.

A sponsor could have gone from $5k one year to $2k the next, and PBD may have continued listing them at the higher level on the signage. We don't know.

Likewise we also don't know what was actually paid by each sponsor. The website says "Platinum Recognition" is $$7500. But maybe, for example, a sponsor only contributed $5k in cash, and then contributed some labor or goods for the tournament, or simply promoted the tournament via marketing channels, and PBD decided to recognize them as Platinum anyway.

Again, using my company as an example, we donated ONE year at a high sponsorship level and we are still listed on the site at that level even though we have donated $0 in subsequent years.

In other words, while it's reasonable to assume that Core Mark or Pepsi or whoever has continued to sponsor at the same amount each year, there is no actual proof of this. It's purely speculation.

Then, Karl uses the 2019 tweeted revenue figure of $109,418 for IndieLand and uses that as the basis for further calculations. But there are some problems here too.

The figure is stated as "preliminary revenue". We don't know what that means. That could be committed revenue but not collected. The word "preliminary" would imply the former.

It's not exactly the same thing, but for example when you run a crowdfunding campaign and people pledge money, typically some % of the pledges do not go through either because the backer cancels or the payment is declined.

These numbers can be 5-10% on a site like Kickstarter. Let's assume the low end - 5% - in that case, $5470 in revenue would never materialize because it was never collected. The base revenue number is now $103,948.

Likewise, we have no idea if the stated figure is before or after any transaction or intermediary fees. Credit cart payments typically cost 2.9% of the total plus a flat fee per transaction (usually 30 cents). Depending on the processor it could be higher.

That means on the low end, transaction fees could eat another ~$3014 or so.

Finally, Tiltify charges 8.5% of all contributions as a fee to the charity, according to their terms of service. This is separate from the payment processing fee. That number could be different if there is a special arrangement made but let's assume it is simply the default.

That would be another $8,835 in fees.

So if the "preliminary revenue" number was simply initial pledges/donations BEFORE transaction fees, Tiltify fees, and any cancellations/chargebacks/failed payments, then the ACTUAL received revenue would be $92,099 - a difference of $17,319.

In Karl's video, his math is that assuming the $109,418 was correct, PBD West would have only raised $14k.

But again, if the "preliminary revenue" number was pre-fees (etc) then the new math is that PBD West would have raised ~$31,000. And THAT number, while on the low side of what it raised in previous years, is not egregiously low like the $14k figure.

Karl did mention Tiltify fees when looking at the 2021 number ("about $2000") but it's not clear where he got that figure, as Tiltify states their default fee is 8.5% PLUS processing fees that the charity pays to the payment processor(s), so the actual fee amount is closer to 11% - so more like $12,000, not $2,000.

And once again, that also does not take into account any failed payments, cancelations, etc.

tl;dr -

  • We don't know how many actual PBD West sponsors there were for a given year just because sponsors were listed on the banner. They could have been listed due to past contributions.
  • We don't know how much any specific sponsors paid per year. We know the "list rates", but PBD West could award recognition or print logos for less than that, or again, even for contributions in previous years.
  • We DO know that failed payments, Tiltify fees, chargebacks, and cancellations could easily be up to 15% of all raised revenue from IndieLand
Again... things are very shady and we need a clear accounting of everything. In public. But that doesn't mean there aren't ALSO more mundane explanations for (at least some % of) the discrepancies noted in the video.

Guys... what if the golf charity just made no money! Then the filings would make sense, nevermind that what these companies pay are clearly outlined and itemised.

I did find one good post on the subreddit that is similar to what @BuckBumble wrote yesterday:

I got this info from here: https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/10022573738089796531 and here by finding the sponsor pictures https://ustournamentgolf.smugmug.com/
Full disclaimer: Take this with a pinch of salt and gradually increase as we proceed further back in time. The sponsorship page only shows the current tier for 2023, there are tiers in 2022 that have no explanation and have to be figured out by context clue. Secondly, we cannot be sure that the tiers are set to the same prices from 2014-2023, they most probably increase overtime with inflation, but since PWD West does no bookkeeping nor do they record previous sponsorship rate we can never tell for certain. I think the prices should remain stable, they still have the 5,000 dollars prize for hitting in the hole.

2020: no pics didn't happen. Corroborated by lowered expenses in OHF filing.
2019: No ranks only list companies: Coca Cola, Monster, PBD West, Dr Pepper Snapple, Coremark. We can make an educated guess based on future and previous donations that PBD West and Coremark are Diamond, Dr Pepper Gold or Plat and Monster plat and Coca Cola also Plat. 37500-38500 total.

X lab and incomm both silver? 37,300 revenue according to that model. According to the reported revenue of OHF they received 60,595 in 2015. Even with all 7 brands being diamond it wouldn't be enough. I'll explain after 2014.
2014: Diamond 8000 x 2 Platinum 7500 x 2

Silver 3000 x 6

2013-2003 As far as I can tell no public pictures exist nor is there any financial record.
Okay back to the weird revenue problem of 2015. I think this is probably due to 2014 where the OHF income was 33,756 with 0 dollars towards expenses. They probably double their expenses by paying them in 2015 and as a result probably also got some of the 2014 income. Note that their expense that year is 28,236 instead of the normal 11000. If we take this into consideration the combined revenue under my estimate for 2014-2015 would be 86,300 slightly under the reported OHF revenue by 8051 which could be explained with raffle money, registration fees, direct donations. A similar situation of delayed expense also probably happened with 2020-2021. Although for 2021 11000 in expenses are for Contracted service whatever that means.
I recommend you comment on this if you are knowledgeable about this issue as I'm not an accountant.
Regardless combining the golf revenue + the revenue from Indieland and Syzygy (see my previous post) while deducting the 125,000 expense leads to a quarter of a million being absent from the current OHF total asset (Please don't sue me, this is my best estimate based on educated guess and limited public info). It's been an exhausting 3 hours.

Conspiracy time: I didn't want to attach this to the main post; what if Indieland was the front, while the Golf tournament is the real money maker? If you go to the website literally the donation page is just send money to OHF, there is no middle man like Indieland with Tiltify where people can review how much money is sent and by whom. If this is accurate it would mean these anonymous donations are intercepted before they can be filed, this is obviously a crime. If you look at it, you can realize the years where the golf money presumably went to OHF is only roughly 50-60% of their revenue (2016-18). Where did these excess fund go? Also I think they got greedy after 2018 once they realize Syzygy & Indieland combined can easily replace the golf revenue, so they can just slowly reduce the money they still spent from golf. Eventually by 2019, 2021, the golf money can just disappear and most outsider observers wouldn't have a single clue. In 2022 the expenses for the OHF was finally itemized. We can see that combined the golf and Fundraising (Indieland) cost 11,000. It means any year not following this pattern should be scrutinized more harshly. Anyway, back to my point, this proves that the golf tournament is just pure profit at this point. They donate none of the money, and all expenses are paid courtesy of OHF fund from Indieland.

Of course which post do you think was allowed to stay up and which got jannied?

If you want a more autistic analogy (I welcome the puzzle pieces) we’re more like the Nosferatu from the Vampire tabletop game.

We’re seen by the rest of the internet as grotesque, things meant to stay in the sewers where we belong. However, when it comes to surveillance and obtaining knowledge, we’re always the first ones relied on to get shit done because we’re just that fucking good at it; and they know it.

I asked Ruby Guest (Jamie Lee Curtis' son) on her Twitch stream about how she feels about the tens of thousands from Syzygy sitting in there and not being donated and she said "SO? You do realise that.... actually I can't, I've been told not to talk about it".

I wasn't stream recording and they've disabled clipping on their channel so until I can get the .VOD you'll have to take my word for it.

you did do it anonymously, at least, right? because the last thing KF needs is ANOTHER troon on the holy crusade to destroy us. don't cow-tip. otherwise, pretty juicy.

So, they haven't decided who to throw under the bus, but that are likely to have chosen a very big bus.

I'm not watching, can someone note if Dax has any opinions other than "charity scams are based except when done by a nigger"?

Timestamp?

Pretty much as soon as the beginning title card that says "Stream starting soon" disappears. Not sure the exact timestamp but should be easy to find.

edit: On The Biggest Problem in the Universe Podcast Karl Jobst hinted at having a bunch more shady interpersonal weird family drama that he could drop but won't until after the the Khalil Family are investigated and found guilty.

I wonder what he's talking about?

@purpleflurp , good job at an OP - I assume it's going to be fleshed out more as time goes on, am I right?

BTW, the Talking Anime NFT collection is an absolutely epic description of the plague on the internet euphemistically termed "vtubers". Great thinking there.

May I ask what the fate of the old fraud-centred thread will be? Will it be folded into this one or attached as a kind of appendix? (That one is a lot more specific with respect to how we reached the information we have).

There's more to this. He made these videos in partnership with the Video Game History Foundation, yet another nonprofit Jirard has been "working
with".
I'll have to check this, but IIRC the VGHF has/had connections to the Twin Galaxies "Old Guard" (the Billy Mitchell/Toddy Rogers dickriders from back in the day).

I remember a documentary called "Chasing Ghosts" showing TG's original boss driving over to a museum(Smithsonian) to donate his grungy umpire's shirt "for posterity" when he retired.

I got curious as to the fate of the "donation" and found some TG guy explaining on a retro arcade gaming forum that because the Smithsonian wasn't "forward-looking" enough to have a vidya collection they sent it on to the VGHF whom TG then got in touch with and "cultivated a great relationship with". Apparently VGHF was interested in a lot of TG's old shit and so on.

Now to be fair, this could just be Twin Galaxies making propaganda for themselves, but they do have a lot of really old arcade hardware which would interest Wata-adjacent scum.

When I have a free day I'll see if I can get some links for this.

She doesn't seem to care that the over 100k her mother donated to The Open Hand Foundation has just sat there losing value to inflation.
Here is what she said when asked about it:

What a beautiful woman.

My theory is that the Syzygy donations were used in part to hide the shortfall from the Golf Tournament money drying up.

I realize I screwed up with my previous post talking about all the family members. Jirard has another sister.

Monika Khalil:

Monika seems to have largely made her own way as a hair stylist and a beautician. She was working at a beauty clinic for 4 years and then bought it. She's older than Jirard and has multiple children.

Don't forget that Mutahar has repeatedly been pro emulation and constantly bitches about companies not letting people play old games on current consoles, including his most recent video before what will be his third Jirard video where he clickbaits the realization that people won't dump thier games and just download the ROMs online, so doing so would seem like he's going against his values to his audience.
This is the same man who almost got himself into a lolsuit he could never win with Nintendo by directly showing people how to emulate Tears of the Kingdom on PC when it was one of the most anticipated game of the year.

Muta's video is out, just starting to watch it.

Edit: Having watched it, it was a bit of a recap of the previous vids but highlighting the golf torney money is really unaccounted for.

So initially, 600k was not spent, now its 600k not spent and income just fucking not declared.
