For every person (as they are not always women) who makes a loud public accusation against a public figure, there are many more tried and failed, whether they just couldn't get the media/law enforcement to listen or they were shut up with threats/hush money. Whether or not any of these accusations are actually true is irrelevant. Is there the potential for great "reward" (attention, money) if you make a public accusation against a famous figure? Of course. Is there the great risk of failure, at large monetary and emotional cost to yourself, perhaps even the loss of your personal safety? Yes. Say what you want about the accuracy of these accusations but it is not "easy" to come out against a famous figure with a fanbase and more resources than the accuser.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the reddit post but is she trying to imply that he's able to get away with being a neo nazi because he's connected? Like the common man wouldn't be able to get away with it but he can because he has so many connections he can fall back on? Is that what they're implying?

Sam Hyde is such a member of the big club he's totally blacklisted from Hollywood and had his TV show taken off the air over a Buzzfeed article. That's how rich and connected he is. BTW Fred Hyde Sam's dad doesn't speak with Sam anymore. He's all but disowned because he crashed one of his sports cars years ago and refused to pay him for it. They are not on good terms at all and any connections his dad (His dad is a doctor btw not some congressman or mayor) might have had would not apply to him.

It's the perfect figure for a halfwit like him to throw out in an argument, because to him "90-95%" means "consensus," "most scientists agree," and most succinctly "just trust me bro." To him, it's an authoritative argument that doesn't require him to provide any sort of proof or evidence. Not only that, but it's the perfect figure to, when proven wrong, point back to it and say "look, see, it's just one of those 5-10% claims in this specific case, but I'm still right about everything else because you couldn't prove me wrong on everything :^)", and it's incredibly obvious to anyone with an IQ above room temp. It's the exact kind of lame logic that whats-her-face earlier in the thread, the one Null is about to interview, gave or would give when asked for some kind assessment of the random, anonymous posts scattered across the internet and image boards for the past decade+ because it's what a simpleton foid uses as a premiere kafkatrap. If you're going to mind me, though, also feel free to relate back some measured percentages of Channing's claims versus your 90-95% veracity figure.
