The Game Awards 2023 (December 7) - watch Spider man 2 win everything.

Racing isn't a sport.
I use to think racing was a sport with no athletes until someone I know who is really into racing said they are. A driver needs to have strong arms and legs to handle tight turns, recover from spinouts, and avoid reckless drivers. Drivers lose water weight 5 pounds or more because the inside of the car is over 100 degrees.

Point taken, I'll keep my mouth shut.

The nominees for "game of the year" are:

- Alan Woke 2
- Coomer's Gate 3
- Soyderman 2
- Shitty Modern Remake 4
- Best Mario Platformer in ages (goodbye new soup, don't come back), but mogged by tons of other new platformers, including Pizza Tower which only gets a "debut indie" nomination, because god forbid we let the little people win anything of value!
- Overpriced DLC

Wow, the rigged awards never fail to disappoint!

Última edición:
Not one single nomination for Robocop: Rogue City? I'm calling bullshit.

BULLSHIT I SAY! 🤬 UTTER. FUCKING. BULLSHIT.

Robocop wasn’t woke, and an actual game. That’s not allowed in the game awards.
There needs to be a DLC expansion for Robocop RC where he kills BLM rioters for taking down statues of slave owners and looting Footlocker stores.

I liked Resident Evil 4.
It took away a few of the more iconic lines, but I do like a lot of the things it brought. The shooting mini game was actually a lot of fun, Leon was less thirsty for Ada, and i liked a lot of the interaction between him and Ashley. This is just personal preference, but I thought Ashley was much cuter and less annoying in the remake as well.

I like both versions. I don’t like how the Red 9 is nerfed, I don’t like how the shotgun ammo is so hard to come by. RE4 didn’t need the crafting mechanics that 2 and 3 had.

Everyone here be like "Where's Hogwarts Legacy tho, It got snubbed." and I'm sitting here like:

That game was at best a 6/10, which is exactly how I feel about Starfield which also didn't deserve the one nomination it got.

I liked both versions too. I wish people would stop pretending like they are only allowed to like one or the other. You can appreciate the improvements of the remake while still enjoying the achievements and gameplay the original version brought to the series as a whole, although I feel Capcom swung too far in the action part of “action horror” with 5 and 6. But a lot of internet chuds act like the Remake makes the original obsolete for some reason, when both still exist and both are fun to play through.

It's impressive as the studio's first open world game, but it could still be improved in a number of ways and yeah ultimately doesn't really deserve a GOTY nomination. They could've found space under other categories though, like music or action/adventure.

I like the outfit the main character has in Forspoken. Its very flowy. Everything else.......yikes. She should have been voiced by Erica Luttrell because she would at least make her not sound like a Joss Whedon version of a game character.

Is there like absolutely anything about Forspoken that's good or is it all woke trash?

I’ve heard the movement system is decent but that’s about it.

It was less impressive than most people give it credit for. For instance, it had just as many load screens as Starfield did, just Hogwarts loaded their screens in game where as Starfield had a cinematic or traditional loadscreen.

It also had none of the features outside of an open world you'd hope to have in a Hogwarts game. Almost no minigames, no quiddich, no other stuff...

Sorry I'm like really sick right now and can't focus. Pretend I made a thunk-provoking argument and rate accordingly.
