It's amazing how ineffective Hamas' tunnels turned out to be one Israel stopped giving a shit about what they were under.
Well, the one thing that always held Israel back was the public opinion backlash, not just in their own country, but in the US. where they need their leaders support but said leaders need to keep public approval, no to mention being in good standing with the U.N.
But that is out of the window now. Westerners reaction, be sympathy, support, disapproval, etc are twitter shallow, they will bitch and moan, but that is about it. Not to mention they are fickle, a couple of months ago they were all about Ukraine's plight, now they have a new cause to occupy their vapid lives on. These wars and their horrors are not real for the fat,self-satisfied pious westerners, they are a passtime that requires no real effort or input besides social media takes.
The Democrats no longer give a shit about public opinion. Yeah some of the hard libs may call Biden a genocidal president, but once the election comes around, all the dems have to do is do the same song and dance that got a demencia ridden man into the top brass in the most powerfull country in the world "Hey, you don't want the orange man to win, do you?". And yes, it will work again.
And the U.N. is a joke. It was already a joke before, but now that Putin just rubbed his balls all over that organization earlier this year, no one gives a fuck about their standing with the U.N and their useless councils.
So there is nothing really to stop Israel, it is just a question on how far they are willing to take it.
