My guess is he had a mixture of acquaintances, people who tolerated him, and people who would use him to their gain. None of these could really be classified as friends. Even Rambo only wanted to hang out with Phil because he wanted someone to train against - it did turn into a friendship of sorts, but Phil had all the consoles, all the games, and would probably ply anyone that showed up with free food and booze.
Everything on the Youtube Adsense end is scrounging for quarters with Phil's numbers. It's a dumb move, more people will find detractor restreams.

No, you got it all wrong. He's starting at -$20 because the second his stream ends he empties out the PayPal. Now, I know what you're going to say "If he's had issues with chargebacks, wouldn't it make sense to leave a couple hundred in there just in case?" The answer is yes.
