That said, while I did not see this coming, there were signs that in hindsight made it somewhat obvious. All stuff he said publicly in videos, so I’m not betraying any trust.

1-he had a tendency to have sex with lesbians.
2-he was molested by a priest when he was a kid
3-he recently got gastric bypass surgery
4-he’s been looking more clean and well kept in his most recent videos
5-hes been growing his hair out since the move to New Hampshire

I’m sure there’s more signs, but those are the pretty big ones to me. Trauma, favor for lesbians, and cleaning himself up and being more conscious of his diet.

I wish him the best, even if I don’t agree with his decisions.

As Great Leader has speculated, I do believe that this trend of trooning out is, at least partially, a result of mental damage done mainly by excessive consumption of Internet porn. It might sound foolish at surface level, and akin to some silly moralfagging about the ills of anything "modern", but the combination of societal loneliness and sensory overload from social media and excessive amounts of porn does seem to result in a very particular form of mental illness. I'm thinking of the "Mouse Utopia"/"behavioral sink"-experiment.

Jason was a porn addict, which adds yet another piece to the puzzle. I think people are so shocked by this because a lot of them didn't know him fully or misremember him. He was never really a super based or red pilled guy. The way I would describe him is that he was more of a true centrist-normie so to speak. He was simply against the overt extremism you see in internet autism.

It is ironic in a way that the second he stepped back from the internet, he managed to fall into much deeper and odd internet rabbit holes that led to him becoming who he is now.

That was one of the things that really threw me for a loop. I remember him making fun of Boogie when he got his, comparing how he was losing his weight on his own. Granted between his age and getting injured a few years later, I could see why he turned to it as a last ditch effort to permanently keep the weight off. But it is still a little ironic.

His whole weight loss journey as a whole was odd to me as well. He was constantly jumping back and forth, and the timeline of things doesn't really seem to add up. Granted that is just how weight loss goes sometimes.
