We are in the 3rd world war
Let us not deceive ourselves, the situation does not concern only Israel; Israel and Jews are only among the first victims. We are in the third world war.
"Everyone hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last. Everyone hopes the storm will pass before it is their turn to be devoured. But I am very much afraid that the storm will not pass. It will rage, and it will rage louder and louder and louder." Winston Churchill, January 20, 1940
"We have been engaged in nonsense". This sentence comes from Joav Kisch, Minister of Education in Israel and member of the Likud party. And further, "We have forgotten where we live." These two sentences are the quintessence of the failure of the West. Because, let's not kid ourselves, it doesn't affect only Israel by any means; Israel and Jews are just among the first victims. "We have engaged in bullshit." Yes, that's right.
As the saying goes, "When the donkey is doing too well, he goes on the ice." Goethe described this pattern of behavior in a collection of poems in 1815 with the words, "Everything in the world can be endured, except a series of nice days." The illusion that the world is a tranquil place, populated with nice people; some have just had a bit of bad luck, are victims of circumstances or evil white people - this was (and is) the basis of Western politics. If one then wraps oneself in the utopia that all people and states worldwide share our western, universalistic approach, i.e. that the same moral rules apply in all cultures and that man as an individual is endowed with inalienable rights and is highly valued, then it is only a matter of time until one has made oneself "ready for slaughter". Reality has been completely blanked out, the West has forgotten what the world really looks like.
It is unintentionally funny: One political side pursues a variation of the "master race" approach: The West is so insanely superior that we great whites must - and can! - we great whites have to help the others, the victims, with money, ingratiation and submission. Since we are so great, they will surely follow our example - has nobody actually noticed what kind of thinking this is? It was repulsive the first time, it is repulsive today.
The other political side is the mirror image: it also thinks we, the West, are far superior and scary, which is why, for example, Russia supposedly trembled before us and had to invade Ukraine. They really believe that! And of course the enemy is the USA, they are always responsible for everything, of course. Anti-capitalism, anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism often go hand in hand. The fact that the leaderships in Russia and their allied Axis powers Iran and China laugh themselves silly about us, think we are exactly the losers we are, is completely ignored, because it does not fit into the world view. Yet everyone knows that only the (supposedly) weak are attacked, never the strong.
The third world war has long since begun
It is destructive forces within that weaken us to the point of defenselessness. Who is still willing to fight for our country, our way of life? Well? The West is far from perfect, mistakes and errors happen, but it is infinitely better than anything else. Ukrainians know what we have, they long for it and are ready to fight for it. And now we are in the third world war. At the moment, this does not mean that we are active warring parties; but it does not change the fact that World War 3 has already started.
Wikipedia defines world war as a war "which, by its geographical extent over several continents and by the unlimited use of all available strategic resources, acquires worldwide significance or which, as a result, involves a fundamental reordering of world international relations."
This is exactly the intention of the Axis powers. Russia wants to expand its influence in Europe, something Putin has never made a secret of. Iran wants supremacy in the Arab world, and China ultimately wants supremacy over the whole world, starting with Asia. That would mean de facto world domination, because the Asian states are far superior to us both in terms of their education (STEM instead of gender studies) and their willingness to make an effort.
This is the 3rd world war, and it has long since begun, while in our country some still say that the wars are none of our business and others pretend that it is somehow possible to limit it all. Again, it is an Israeli politician who speaks the truth, namely the Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz: "We are in the Third World War, and Israel is at the front."
We must fight on all fronts
That's right. The other frontline state is Ukraine. But not a single German politician has the courage to say: Friends, the war has begun, it concerns us all, because we have to fight for our existence. This war will be long and bitter, this time we not only have external enemies, we have brought them into our country. We have to change that. We must fight on all fronts, quickly and decisively.
Our Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, has said it in a roundabout way. He addressed the various flashpoints and emphasized that the turn of the times is more than just a word, that we absolutely have to become defensible:
"When people's trust in the state and its institutions dwindles, we must find answers and invest in the defensibility and resilience of our democracy. I am convinced that this is one of the most central and at the same time most challenging tasks facing politics and society again today."
But he also avoided telling the people of the country very clearly what was at stake. Some journalists named the seriousness of the situation. For example, Eric Gujer, editor-in-chief of the NZZ, accurately states that Western ideas of order are generally "under pressure," in Ukraine as in Israel. In Wirtschaftswoche, Dieter Schnaas writes:
"Atrocities such as those committed by Hamas are breaches of civilization that cannot be contextualized, but can only be understood outside of all context: as statements of elementary amorality. Those who nevertheless place them in context not only sign their own moral bankruptcy, but also fail to recognize the political dimension of terror: Hamas, which is supported by Iran, wants to appear to the world precisely not as the reacting victim of an occupying power, but as murderous perpetrators of conviction - just as Iran and Russia, with China's blessing, also appear as fact-creating powers to revise the postwar order and redivide the world into anti-Western zones of influence, to deny the equal status of international law and human rights - and to violently shift borders. "
Moral bankruptcy and realism
Realism is probably the only "ism" that is useful. Everyone who bears responsibility has to face situations. Not only when they suit you and confirm your own assessment, but above all and especially when they are painful; when you do not want to admit them, when you would prefer to hide. This requires courage and bravery. But there is no other way.
The denigration of people that has become a method instead of dealing with the issue on the factual level, i.e. running away from the problems, is not only an intellectual but also a moral declaration of bankruptcy. Those who do not listen to warnings, who do not admit that they can be wrong, who do not analyze dangers and react accordingly, are never, really never and under no circumstances, fit in character to occupy a leadership position. If political leadership is so unsuitable in times when one has to fight for existence, the battle is already lost.
The times of bullshit are over, we simply can't afford it anymore. Once again, in all clarity: World War 3 has begun. The sooner we prepare for it, the greater our chances of survival. We won't make it with the current political personnel. The events shake them up briefly, then they fall back into old behavior patterns. But these are what weaken us and bring us ever closer to the abyss. As we know, the definition of insanity is always doing the same thing and hoping for a different outcome. It is the "more of the same" method that Paul Watzlawick describes in his "Guide to Unhappiness." Time is running against us.
