Mass shooting reported at multiple locations in Lewiston, Maine

Have they said if the rifle was military issue or personal?
Dunno. But now they're walking back the claim he was a shooting instructor. If it was a .308, it probably wouldn't be a military-issue, unless it was a SCAR or a 240, which it obviously isn't in those pictures.

of interest Robert card of Bowden
1:53
continues I will let law enforcements
1:55
speak to the ongoing Manhunt and to
1:57
their

2:30
there are still many things we don't yet
2:32
know about these
2:34
attacks but the full weight of my
2:36
Administration is Behind law
2:38
enforcement's efforts to capture the
2:41
person of interest Robert
2:44
C to hold whoever is responsible for
2:47
this atrocity accountable under the full
2:50
force of state and federal
2:52
law and to seek full Justice for the
2:55
victims and their
2:58
families
3:00
we are we cannot and we will not rest in
3:04
this
3:06
endeavor my Administration is
3:09
coordinating closely with local Regional
3:12
and federal officials to respond to this
3:16
shooting I have spoken twice with
3:19
President
3:20
Biden I've spoken with vice president
3:23
Harris Secretary of Homeland Security my
3:26
arus and Secretary of Health and Human
3:28
Services
3:30
Sarah all of whom have called me last
3:33
night to express the Biden
3:34
administration's full and unwavering
3:37
support and to offer any and all help
3:40
that we the people of name might might
3:44
require the governors of our neighboring
3:47
New England states and of other states
3:50
have contacted me to offer Aid and I am
3:53
sincerely grateful for their friendship
3:56
and
3:57
support we've been in touch with with
3:59
every member of the main Congressional
4:02
Delegation all of whom have offered
4:04
their full support for which I am also
4:08
grateful I also spoke with mayor Carl
4:11
shellene and Auburn mayor uh excuse me
4:14
Jason L last night to re reiterate that
4:17
we are standing by
4:19
them and that we are ready to provide
4:22
any help people in these communities
4:24
need and to deploy all available State
4:28
resources including grief counselors and
4:31
other Mental Health Services we need to
4:34
help our communities
4:36
heal if you or a person you love needs
4:42
someone to talk to during this difficult
4:44
time please call or text
4:49
988 for free and confidential counseling
4:56
988 look Lewiston is a special place
5:00
it's a close-knit community with a long
5:03
history of hard work of Persistence of
5:07
faith of opening its big heart to people
5:12
everywhere Lew and is where I worked for
5:14
years it's where I met and married my
5:17
husband and where our girls went to
5:20
school I love this place just as I love
5:24
our whole state with my entire
5:27
heart I'm so deeply saddened as is every
5:31
one of the 1.3 million people of this
5:34
this beautiful state this city did not
5:37
deserve this terrible assault on its
5:40
citizens on its peace of mind on its
5:43
sense of security no city does no State
5:47
no
5:49
people no words can truly or fully
5:53
measure the grief of main people
5:56
today our small state of just 1.3
5:59
million people has long been known as
6:01
one of the safest states in the
6:04
nation this attack strikes at the very
6:07
heart of who we are and the values we
6:10
hold dear for this precious place we
6:13
call
6:15
home all main people are sharing in the
6:17
sorrow of the families who lost loved
6:19
ones last
6:22
night loved ones normal people who were
6:26
killed or injured while unwinding from a
6:29
day of work or while spending time with
6:32
their family and friends
6:35
socializing so on behalf of the 1.3
6:37
million people of the whole state of
6:40
Maine I hold these families and this
6:43
city in my heart
6:46
today I know that the people of Leon are
6:49
enduring immeasurable
6:52
pain I wish I could take that pain off
6:55
your hearts off your shoulders but I
6:57
promise you this we will all help you
7:00
carry that
7:04
grief I ask many people to join me in
7:07
offering our comfort to the families and
7:10
friends who have lost someone and in
7:13
offering our prayers for Swift recovery
7:16
for those who are healing in Main's
7:18
hospitals
7:21
today this is a dark day for
7:25
me I know it's hard for us to think
7:27
about healing when our heart hearts are
7:30
broken but I want every person in Maine
7:33
to know that we will heal
7:38
together we are strong we are
7:43
resilient we are a very caring
7:46
people in the days and weeks ahead we
7:49
will need to lean on those qualities
7:51
more than ever
7:54
before as we move
7:56
forward struggling as we may
8:00
let us wrap our arms around one another
8:03
offer comfort and Solace and
8:08
love I know the mainstate police will
8:10
continue to release information to the
8:12
public as we confirm it and information
8:16
about any steps that the public might
8:18
take to support the people of Lewiston
8:21
at this
8:22
time may God Bless the people of Leon
8:25
and bless the memories of those we have
8:28
lost thank
8:30
you I'm going to turn it over to
8:33
commissioner
8:37
Sasha thank you very much Governor we
8:40
certainly appreciate your support the
8:41
city of Leon does uh the state of Maine
8:43
and certainly our First Responders we
8:45
feel that love every day uh and thank
8:48
you very much for that I I would also
8:50
say that we want to say thank you to a
8:52
really a large number of other elected
8:54
officials across our state whether
8:55
that's the federal delegation uh local
8:58
elected officials offals uh and many
9:00
others uh that are part of organizations
9:03
or law enforcement agencies uh that
9:05
truly wanted to join us today at this
9:07
particular press event uh and wanted to
9:10
speak on behalf of their communities uh
9:12
and as the governor had mentioned and uh
9:15
everybody else will reiterate uh our
9:17
reality for today is that this this
9:19
suspect is still that large and we want
9:22
to provide uh Community Support uh for
9:25
the victims for the families uh in the
9:27
communities across the state
9:29
uh but we also have an incredibly strong
9:31
laser-like focus on bringing this
9:34
suspect into custody and ultimately to
9:37
justice so because of that mission for
9:39
this particular event and today's
9:41
activities uh we're keeping uh the list
9:44
of speakers in the agenda pretty tight
9:47
uh and that will include uh next uh up
9:50
at the podium would be Chief Dave S
9:52
Pierre uh from the city of
9:54
Leon uh and some other members of his
9:57
Command Staff are present uh what I will
10:00
say to the city of Leon and you know
10:01
this because you feel it every day uh
10:04
but you're lucky to have uh a chief like
10:06
a chief uh St Pierre and his entire law
10:09
enforcement agency uh from every level
10:11
those officers uh put their heart and
10:14
their soul on the line on behalf of
10:15
their Community last night and into
10:17
today and they're doing it for the right
10:19
reasons they do it because they care uh
10:21
so the city of Lewiston and truly our
10:24
corresponder family across the state of
10:25
Maine is lucky uh to have to have Dave
10:28
and his team uh in the mix uh with us uh
10:31
and we're also going to hear from
10:33
Colonel William Ross from the main State
10:35
Police uh and Bill will highlight some
10:37
of the timeline uh things that you're
10:39
probably uh uh concerned about and
10:42
certainly interested in from a story
10:43
perspective uh so the colonel will come
10:45
up and speak to that and we'll also have
10:49
uh jod Cohen and jod is the special
10:51
agent in charge for the FBI out of the
10:53
Boston field office uh and Jody will
10:56
highlight some of those Federal
10:58
Partnerships and some of the things that
11:00
our federal partners are bringing to the
11:01
table bringing to Bear to help us uh
11:04
with this investigation we also have a
11:06
bunch of people here uh once you start
11:08
naming people you're going to have a
11:09
problem because you're going to forget
11:11
somebody or screw something up but uh I
11:13
would also tell you that a couple of our
11:14
other Federal partners are here Kevin
11:16
Neil who was the US Marshal for the
11:18
District of Maine we also have James
11:20
Ferguson uh and Jim is a special agent
11:23
in charge from the ATF uh for the Boston
11:25
field division uh they are heavily
11:27
invested with staff
11:29
along with the FBI uh and we can't thank
11:32
them enough uh for all that they're
11:33
doing on behalf of our state I would
11:36
also tell you that uh we are going to
11:37
close with a brief Q&A uh and we're
11:41
going to try to get some of those
11:42
questions out there we appreciate your
11:43
time your patience your professionalism
11:45
your partnership and getting this
11:47
information out uh I would think that
11:49
those questions are going to be brief uh
11:51
because again we do have a suspect at
11:52
large and while you can help us with
11:54
that we also need to get back to our
11:56
teams to push forward on that so with
11:58
that in mind mind uh I will be back up
12:00
to the podium to kind of steer that a
12:02
little bit uh but for starters I would
12:04
like Chief St Pierre to join us thank
12:06
you thank you director sash shuk um and
12:10
welcome media Media Partners um and
12:12
thank you Governor Mills for those kind
12:13
words uh I'm going to keep this short um
12:16
what I would like the very most is to
12:18
express our deepest sympathies to the
12:20
families and friends of the victims in
12:23
of this heinous crime this is truly AA a
12:26
tragedy that goes beyond comprehension
12:28
I'm confident in our community that our
12:30
community has and will continue to come
12:32
together throughout this endeavor to
12:34
bring this to a successful conclusion
12:37
although difficult I do ask the public
12:39
to continue to be mindful of their own
12:41
personal safety and also that they be
12:43
patient with the process as much as
12:45
possible there is extensive work and
12:47
attention to detail that goes into such
12:50
a large scale investigation I'm
12:52
confident in the expertise and
12:54
professionalism of our investigators and
12:56
all law enforcement officials that are
12:58
currently involved
12:59
this is a all Hands-On deck approach we
13:02
have a great deal of collaboration and
13:04
resources that have been made available
13:06
to us there are far too many to name
13:08
individually U but I think D director
13:11
Sasha uh named quite a few appropriately
13:14
um they are far too many as I stated but
13:17
they are all appreciated more than you
13:18
know I want to thank all of our brave
13:21
men and women of the Leon Police
13:22
Department fire department staff medical
13:25
personnel First Responders of any kind
13:28
that have gone that came from far and
13:29
wide and have come together and continue
13:31
to work tiously in bringing the
13:34
situation to an end we hope to locate
13:36
and hold the person
13:38
accountable um I think you'll hear next
13:40
from uh the state police who is taking
13:43
the lead in this investigation although
13:46
that we are working hand inand with them
13:48
I think uh Colonel Ross will be able to
13:50
fill you in a little bit
13:56
more thank you chief um first and
14:00
foremost this is an ongoing homicide
14:02
investigation and search for the person
14:04
that is responsible for it we're in the
14:07
early stages of this
14:08
investigation and uh I just want to let
14:11
you know we will have updates we'll be
14:13
putting some type of a schedule out uh
14:15
later on but again early stages of a
14:18
homicide investigation we want to be
14:20
careful that we're doing things
14:21
correctly we don't want to get ahead of
14:23
ourselves um I'm going to give you a bit
14:26
of a timeline here to kind of fill in
14:28
some of the lanks and give you some of
14:29
the facts as we know them right now um a
14:33
lot of this information will then be
14:34
transferred to the Attorney General's
14:36
office as they will be the lead
14:38
prosecutor uh again in any homicide
14:41
investigation last night uh October 25th
14:44
at approximately 6:56 p.m. the Auburn
14:48
communications center received a 911
14:50
call of a male shooting in just in time
14:53
or the spare time um Recreation Center
14:58
uh in the town of Lewiston located at 24
15:01
malison way in
15:03
Lewiston shortly after that at about 708
15:07
p.m. the Communication Center received
15:10
multiple 911 calls about an active
15:13
shooter inside of
15:16
ai's
15:17
Billiards at 553 Lincoln Street in the
15:21
town of
15:22
Leon a large law enforcement response
15:25
from multiple surrounding agencies
15:28
assisted the Leon Police Department in
15:31
trying to identify uh who this
15:33
individual was and what was happening as
15:35
you can imagine this was a very
15:38
fast-paced uh fast moving very fluid
15:40
scene very dangerous scene that these
15:43
guys and girls were going into 18 people
15:47
are now
15:48
deceased uh at this time the victims at
15:52
the just in time and
15:54
establishment seven people are deceased
15:57
there one feemale fale and six males all
16:00
from an apparent gunshot
16:02
wound victims at the schmegle
16:06
Billiards eight are
16:08
deceased seven males inside the
16:11
establishment one male outside of the
16:14
establishment again also apparent
16:16
gunshot
16:18
wounds set multiple people were
16:20
transferred to area hospitals Central
16:23
Main Medical Center St Mary's and Main
16:25
Medical
16:26
Center three people that were
16:28
transferred to those hospitals uh or
16:31
deceased for a total of 18 people
16:34
deceased at this
16:39
time the investigation uh into the
16:42
person responsible for this identified a
16:44
vehicle located at the PB Scott boat
16:48
landing in
16:49
Lisbon that person through the
16:51
registration of that vehicle was
16:53
identified as been stated earlier as a
16:56
robbit
16:57
card born in
17:00
1983 um several of the deceased have
17:04
been identified and their families next
17:07
of Kim have been notified approximately
17:10
eight people at this point have been
17:11
identified 10 people 10 of these victims
17:15
still need to be identified at this time
17:18
um currently there is an arrest warrant
17:21
for eight counts of murder for Mr card
17:26
um and the reason it's 8 counts because
17:28
10 people have not yet been identified
17:30
as those people are identified uh the
17:32
counts will probably go to the total of
17:35
18 um he should be considered armed and
17:40
dangerous based on our investigation we
17:43
believe this is someone that should not
17:45
be approached this is someone that
17:46
should be um if you come into any
17:49
contact with this individual or someone
17:51
that you think looks like this
17:52
individual you were to call 911 and I'll
17:55
provide some tip line numbers uh at the
17:57
conclusion of of of my
17:59
briefing Lon Police Department federal
18:02
state county and other local
18:04
municipalities are involved in a
18:06
coordinated search at this moment for
18:08
this individual so the ongoing
18:11
investigation and there's a search to
18:13
apprehend this person both happened
18:17
simultaneously I can't stress this
18:19
enough this is an ongoing investigation
18:21
in the early stages more information
18:23
will come out uh in conjunction with the
18:26
the Attorney General's office as the
18:27
lead process
18:28
U um we can't share all of our
18:31
information right now and I'm sure you
18:33
understand that I'm going to give out
18:34
two numbers that'll go to a tip line um
18:38
911 is also appropriate for this but if
18:41
anyone can call these two numbers this
18:43
would go to the State Police tip line
18:45
area code 207 213
18:50
9526
18:52
207 509
18:57
902 and we'll be sending something out
19:00
later that has that information in it if
19:02
uh you weren't able to grab that now
19:04
again uh this is a very fluid situation
19:08
we have a lot of resources as Chief St
19:11
Pierre uh had mentioned earlier that are
19:13
on the ground uh in a coordinated effort
19:16
to apprehend this
19:18
individual um we've notified the
19:20
Department of Education and they have
19:23
determined what they're going to do with
19:25
the schools a lot of schools area
19:27
schools were shut down today based on
19:29
our conversation with them again as more
19:32
information comes in we'll be providing
19:34
it to you um thank you for your time
19:37
this is a very difficult time for I
19:39
think the the the community of Leon
19:42
difficult time for obviously the the the
19:44
victim's families and it's a v it's a
19:47
tough time for law enforcement it was a
19:48
rough night last night um but uh we're
19:52
committed to bringing you know whoever's
19:54
responsible this to Justice and again we
19:58
are currently looking for Mr card right
20:01
now some of that we'd like to apprehend
20:03
thank
20:06
you thank you Colonel and FBI special
20:08
agent in charge Cen if you could join me
20:15
please thank you my name is jod Cohen
20:18
I'm the special agent in charge of FBI
20:20
Boston division which covers the state
20:22
of Maine our hearts go out to everyone
20:25
who is impacted as a result of the
20:27
senseless violence
20:30
the FBI is working hand inand with our
20:32
law enforcement Partners our evidence
20:34
rets team is here processing the very
20:37
extensive scenes we are providing
20:40
investigative and tactical support as
20:42
well as our victim Specialists are
20:44
working with those affected by this
20:47
tragedy as this very active
20:49
investigation continues to unfold we're
20:52
asking the public to stay vigilant and
20:54
come forward with any information that
20:57
you might have that you feel is helpful
20:59
to our
21:01
investigators my pledge is that the FBI
21:03
will carry out this investigative case
21:06
with rigor we will work day and night
21:09
alongside our law enforcement Partners
21:11
to get the answers to the questions this
21:14
community deserves we thank the public
21:16
for your continued cooperation and
21:19
patience as we continue to work this
21:21
very active investigation thank
21:27
you
21:29
appreciate that and I would say that uh
21:31
the reality here from a resource
21:32
standpoint is that when we've asked for
21:34
anything the answer has been yes period
21:37
uh tactical teams evidence response
21:39
teams uh full-blown investigative units
21:42
detective units uh that have come from
21:44
multiple States uh whether it's the
21:46
Commissioners from Vermont and New
21:48
Hampshire reaching out to me directly
21:49
Massachusetts saying what do you need
21:51
Mike what can we do for the state of
21:53
Maine so we are now prepared uh to try
21:56
to take a few questions uh and keep in
21:58
mind again that we may not be able to
21:59
answer uh as in depth as you would like
22:02
and uh we don't plan on taking a great
22:04
deal of questions I think followup press
22:07
events will allow for that sir so just
22:10
no one has really talked about the
22:11
weapon that was used here um AR 15 style
22:15
so someone hope someone can talk about
22:17
that but the other thing here is there
22:19
are reports that this individual had
22:21
mental health issues that he made
22:24
threats to shoot up the National Guard
22:26
so clearly there were some signs there
22:28
that he was on someone's radar the
22:31
question becomes why was he in
22:33
possession of this weapon uh and
22:35
certainly why wasn't he sto uh sooner
22:39
yeah I think those are all valid
22:40
questions and certainly questions that
22:42
we are looking into now uh but not
22:44
questions that we can answer uh today uh
22:46
considering that this occurred last
22:48
night uh there's still an active search
22:50
for the suspect in question uh so I
22:52
appreciate those questions but not
22:54
something we're going to be able to
22:55
answer right now is it something that
22:56
you're investigating and looking it is
22:58
certainly one of those things that we
22:59
want to follow up on all aspects of that
23:02
go ahead right here yes give us a sense
23:04
of the ages of who has died how many are
23:07
under 18 and how many are over 18 I'm
23:09
not sure we have that information with
23:11
us today uh we wanted to break it down
23:14
uh by gender uh because that's something
23:16
we had readily available uh we did not
23:18
break this down into age ranges uh at
23:20
all so what can you tell us what can you
23:22
tell us about the background of the
23:24
suspect in this case or I should say the
23:26
person of interest because I noticed the
23:27
language which is very clear you're
23:28
saying Person of Interest not suspect so
23:31
why use that terminology and what can
23:33
you tell us about his background yeah I
23:35
think we use Person of Interest last
23:36
night uh for half of the room that was
23:39
here for that press event uh as the
23:40
colonel had mentioned there is now
23:42
arrest warrants for murder uh for this
23:45
particular individual Mr card uh so he
23:48
is viewed as a suspect and there is a
23:49
full court press by all of our partners
23:52
uh to bring him into custody what was
23:53
the second piece of that question what
23:54
can you tell us about his
23:56
background asked the second go about the
23:58
idea that you know he had voiced
24:00
concerns about his own mental health
24:02
right had been committed according to
24:03
language in a police bulletin to a
24:05
mental health facility for weeks how
24:08
could someone that fits that profile
24:09
still be in possession of semi-automatic
24:12
weapons well I do think that the
24:14
statutes around firearms and the
24:15
possession of those are pretty complex I
24:17
know that we'll we will be reviewing
24:19
that information as we move forward but
24:21
that's not an answer that we're prepared
24:22
to give today because that leads to
24:24
motive you're talking about behavioral
24:25
health issues and how that impacts this
24:27
situation I would expect you'll hear
24:28
back from us on that uh in the future
24:30
right here sir yeah got a question about
24:33
we've seen helicopters far
24:35
north can you tell us anything about
24:37
what's leading you what's leading you
24:40
that far north of the the SE where you
24:43
yeah sure so we have law enforcement
24:44
assets that are deployed over a number
24:46
of communities doing follow-ups on a
24:48
number of different things uh so as you
24:50
can imagine uh there's a great deal of
24:52
search warrants that we're following up
24:53
on we do have partners that helicopters
24:55
from the New Hampshire State Police that
24:57
copter was here last night to assist
24:59
this as well um so whether we have
25:00
tactical elements out or we're searching
25:02
an area some of those uh air assets
25:05
would be very very valuable for us so
25:06
that's what they're doing there we're
25:09
not going to speak to what brings us to
25:10
a specific Community one way or the
25:12
other yes ma'am identifying the
25:15
unidentified victims um what are people
25:17
encouraged to do is there DNA being you
25:20
know tested from family members who may
25:22
have missing loved ones like what is
25:23
that what's that a yeah so we did have a
25:26
a family uh uh reunification Center
25:30
opened last night we do have Behavioral
25:32
Health Liaisons that are fully engaged
25:34
to work with families and work with
25:36
loved ones uh and work with victims for
25:38
that matter that may be in the hospital
25:40
and and uh seeking treatment so those
25:42
things are actively occurring we are
25:44
dealing with each one of those
25:45
situations separately so do we need DNA
25:47
on that are we just waiting to to find
25:50
uh a loved one uh some kind of family
25:52
member that we can make a notification I
25:54
think that varies across the board I'm
25:56
going to take two more questions take
25:58
two right here yes there some sort of
26:00
triggering event is something that
26:02
you're
26:02
investigating I think we're always uh
26:05
concerned around motive that you say
26:06
triggering event that's a motive for us
26:08
uh again that's not something we're
26:09
prepared to discuss uh today but I do
26:11
appreciate the question it's clearly
26:13
something that's important one one
26:15
additional followup from you can you
26:17
help us understand why these locations
26:19
why this this bar why it's stolen now
26:21
what's what's looking for someone what's
26:23
you looking for some of I think that
26:24
does speak to motive so I appreciate the
26:26
followup but not something we're going
26:27
to be prepared to answer today I'm going
26:28
have one more question right here right
26:31
here you say is is card first off
26:33
clarify with the arrest warrant issued
26:35
today and can you say if card is still
26:37
in the stage or he still alive well
26:40
we're actively searching for him if I if
26:41
I knew the answers to those questions
26:43
and uh this would be a different press
26:44
conference I would uh assume so we don't
26:47
know his location uh and I'll leave it
26:49
at that uh and we are working with the
26:51
Attorney General's office reference to
26:53
those muros so so with that in mind um
26:56
we're we're done taking question for now
26:58
so we are going to actually take off at
26:59
this point thank you very much for being
27:01
here I appreciate that thank you
27:04
everybody all right if you are just
27:06
joining us that is the very latest from
27:08
Main State Police providing an update on
27:11
last night's mass shooting in Leon uh we
27:14
can tell you 18 people are now confirmed
27:17
dead 13 people have been injured and
27:20
nearby towns are still Sheltering in
27:23
place law enforcement describing this as
27:26
an extremely fluid situation a difficult
27:29
situation and The Manhunt now continues
27:32
for Robert card the suspected shooter in
27:35
this horrific mass shooting he has been
27:37
described as armed and extremely
27:40
dangerous keep it here on cb24 as we
27:43
keep a close eye on this developing
27:45
story

They may have politics but they’re just tard raging; imo the most political mass shooters are that pooner, Anders, and the Paris mass shooters.
Audrey Hale wasn’t political and more just evidence all troons are violent. She was just trying to “get back” at a Catholic school for being a Catholic school which she was abused at.

Anders was obviously political (and based)

The Paris shooters were Islamists which is political I guess.

That’s not a typical age of onset. For males it’s the 16-early twenties range that’s most common. Late onset schizophrenia I think is majority secondary to illness or drug abuse or severe trauma. It can just occur spontaneously post 40 but it’s not terribly common. It’s actually women who are more likely to have a first episode later
It seems unlikely someone stable enough to be a firearms trainer and hold down a job has been battling schizophrenia since their twenties and suddenly done this - you tend to find schizophrenia mellows a bit with age as well.
I was generalizing. I understand late teens-24 is by far the most common age of onset in males, but a guy like John Nash didn’t go noticeably coo-coo until 28. It’s just anything past 30 I rule out schizophrenia onset.

He’s doesn’t have schizophrenia. We are either going to find he’s been on using meth/ weird psychoactive chemicals or he’s actually been fucked in the head for years but was holding it together a bit better. Mentally ill guys like that can rapidly lose their shit thanks to a job loss, divorce, etc… one bad event starts a nasty avalanche or snowball effect. Most likely is a mix of the former and later together .

For whatever reason “people talking about me” paranoia is really common with meth psychosis and meth heads. At least “people talking about me” is reported as his main gripe, not CIA monitoring his brain waves, conspiracy paranoia, his thoughts being read, psychic powers, etc…
Its called a targeted individual all of the people are talking about him and work for the CIA.

When he was deemed unfit for service and as soon as he stepped foot on the other side of the base gate, he was allowed to have his guns back. That never sat right with me. This guy was the sort that should definitely have his shit permanently revoked.
One doesn't lose their second amendment right because they are crazy. One could be blind, homicidal and in the middle of a contentious divorce but if you believe in the constitution than you can not support taking guns from the people.

I used to think that this was insane. Why would you let a wife beating nutcase have access to a gun? I have since changed my mind and believe that there is no right answers, just trade offs. I am willing to trade a few lives for the sake of keeping the population armed because I believe that the more people that are armed, the less the bad guy's body count.

And about the Subarus: It is literally the most popular car in northern New England. These are not riced out sporty models, These are Foresters, Outbacks and Crosstreks. Everyone has them because they are made for the climate and terrain.

There is no bait. White men are over represented as mass shooters. By a ridiculous margin.
False. This must be bait because any search that goes beyond the super duper trustworthy MSM leads to the conclusion that it is blacks who are over represented.

I wish there was a way to prevent crazies from owning guns but the moment "mental illness" becomes a disqualifier then simply wanting to own a gun will be classified as a mental illness.

The Canadian government were toying with labelling covid shot refusal a mental illness, and similar with racism.
We’d do better as society reducing the crazies and druggies. Insert the usual rant about closing asylums and our bizarre policies glamourising drug use, along with the mental health impacts of job loss etc.

So this OSINT guy posted a list of what accounts Robert Card (robertc20041800) visited before his account got wiped. source

Seeing how McCarthy ain't House Speaker, anymore I bet his shooting rage was him getting upset from that, it is the only conclusion that I can from it. Which is why I exclaim that the GOP shouldn't have let McCarthy go from House Speaker position, because look at what happen two times today.

Years ago, there was a show called The Thin Blue Line starring Rowan Atkinson as a police captain (or whatever local equivalent). Now this was set in Engl*nd of course, and it was supposed to be a comedy, but that's basically what happened.

"Hello officer, I'd like to apply for a gun loicense."
"Do you have any disqualifying conditions?"
"No."
"Do you want to own a gun?"
"Yes."
"Disqualified."

Well, life imitates art.

FBI statistics aren't a study, it's real-world data. Blacks commit more mass-shootings than whites like 3-to-1.
What moon math are we doing here?

Listen to yourself.
he was driven to mass murder to avenge a limp-dicked normiecon getting cucked

Meth abuse maybe? It’s odd the way his family talks about him suddenly hearing voices and paranoia. If he was 18-28 I’d say it’s the onset of schizophrenia, but he’s 40. There are few scenarios where he has a psychotic break/severs mental illness onset at that age, but Occam’s razor points to really ramped up drug abuse.

Of course I should take his family saying it’s only a recent thing with a grain of salt, might just be a case of it only got so severe in the last year it torpedoed his life.
Untreated or poorly treated pstd can do that source third generation with it if you don't treat it properly it just gets worse and you blow up your life also high anxiety levels can cause listening to endless beeping or the chatter in the background to hear your name and feels like talking about you. It can be absolutely terrifing and meds especially anti-anxiety meds might remove the final obstacle of you going postal . One of the thing you have with pstd is horrible crippling anxiety and anger for what happened to you the meds remove the anxiety and now you have just anger this is why you see people going postal in USA no therapist or doctor follow up just meds thrown at you and hope for the best.

My father started getting more violent and more crazy around that age same with my grandfather. As if middle age makes something go loose in mans heads and get worse and unhinged.
