when my impression of this sites political leaning was overwhelming anti-Israel prior to this situation
I'm sorry that you're incredibly naive enough to think that the shrieking LARPing antisemites -Josh included -were an accurate reflection of reality.
To answer your question and reason why I asked mine is I believe that the "Anti-Semitism" we're seeing and the Hamas support globally is entirely Israel's fault. I also believe that the foreign policy strategies they have influenced within the US has led to the funding of groups like Hamas and I think it's ironic they are being killed with weapons taxpayers paid for when Israel themselves siphon so much from us and offer nothing.
How is it "entirely Israel's fault"? Also love your vague "policies they've influenced". Hamas has been funded by leftists and Iran. Biden and Obama have funded Iran and have been the most anti-Israel administrations in the history of US-Israel relations.
You, like many of the antisemites on this site, seem to conflate atheist leftists of Jewish ancestry -who WAY MORE OFTEN THAN NOT are anti-Zionists -with conservative religious Jews who dislike atheist Jews. Even within Israel, there are many different factions of Jews who have varying levels of animosity towards each other. To think like all Jews in all of existence act as a hive mind is extremely retarded.
Also we do get a lot of security from Israel. They go on many missions outside of Israel to kill various terrorists and share their intelligence with us. Do you think it's a coincidence that Biden's increased distance from Israel coincides with having a weak border, thus increasing the likelihood of a terrorist attack in the US? Also why is the $3.3 billion we send to Israel that provides us with intelligence and security more offensive to you than the $10 billion we send to African countries that just goes into corrupt oligarchs' pockets and gives the US literally nothing?
I also think people who think like you are somehow under the impression that US troops will be deployed to Gaza. As stated numerous times in this thread, this is the millionth conflict between Israel and Gaza, all of which have not involved US soldiers. Why do you think this will be any different? Are you so consumed by the idea that "the Jews control the US" that it's an inevitability? What's your explanation, then, as to why they haven't done so in the past, especially since US support for Israel was much higher then?
TL;DR: your positions are historically/politically/economically illiterate and seem to be based solely on the idea that "Jews control the US"
