Not true. He was charged under Virginia code § 18.2-366. "INCEST W/OWN CHILD" is just an abbreviated description of the crime, not the full extent of it.

This happened in NY, with a kid I went to school with. It became very public knowledge that he had raped his sister, and even tho everyone had a silent agreement to never talk about it for her sake, everyone knew and his life went along like normal.
At least until a few years ago when he did something fucking stupid and from what I hear ended up on the news and the sex offender list, finally.

Went to school with someone in (I'm not showing my power level)
And he had done this with his sister. She was super young like a literal toddler but because he had autism nothing happened. There were rumors and I even heard him admit to it at one point but it was bizarre. These things happening in a small town like this are even worse. No one talked about it out loud and the very few people I keep in contact with from those days still think it's bizarre. He went to court over it and still absolutely no consequences. So our little Teflon tard getting outta this without hitting a registry was always expected.
