Important correction: alt-right bigot who is telling the truth, and speaking lies to those who teach lies as truth.
As for Paw Patrol, this seems like it was cut whole cloth from the Blues Clues scandal that happened a couple years ago. Devon Stack, Vincent James and even more mainstream commentators discussed that. Even if some really bad parents think this is ok, I cannot see how Nickelodeon / cable television is not hemorrhaging subscribers, which seems to have been the default with people cutting cords.
Having a "non-binary" character (whose pronouns are not yet determined) is just the most ham-fisted, stilted bit of propaganda that even kids can see through. I hate watched A Man Called Otto (pirated it, so as not to feed the machine). The paper boy element of the plot was no less stilted, so much so it did not even make me angry, I just laughed. Kids are not dumb, and certainly not as dumb as many adults think and i have to think a lot of kids think this is just as stupid and will turn it off. Maybe I am being too optimistic on that.
One other thing and I am sure this has said before--binary, non-binary are not exactly elementary or kindergarten terms. Even if you factor out the grooming and cult of troon bullshit, it is just weird to be using vocabulary that should be foreign to small children. Finally, pronouns are not customizable, so these "people" should be killed for fucking up everyone's understanding of grammar as well.
