So, just to be clear they are angry because it's called "No Man's Sky" and not "No Person's Sky"?
That is weapons grade stupid.
I know a lot of SJWs like to redefine words because dictionaries are a tool of the patriarchy. Because it's not as though we have to agree on definitions or else the whole construct of language as a way to communicate concepts to one another comes tumbling down or anything. However, "man" can be and is used as a gender neutral synonym for humanity. And, as someone said earlier in this thread, it's a clear reference to the concept of "no man's land."
You could actually spend the same amount of willful ignorance of the English language and interpret "No Man's Sky" into a sky that belongs exclusively to women.
Anyway, it's not as though Jezebel readers were actually going to buy any videogame based on a Jezebel review. It'd be like deciding on which shotgun to buy based on an article in Cosmo.
