Freud invented his oedipus complex and his penis envy theories because he was receiving mostly young female patients from wealthy backgrounds with 'hysteria' who would then tell him they were being or had been abused by their fathers or other male family members. (Women would not have had the freedom to associate freely with unrelated men enough for it to be men outside the family in any significant scale). He originally presented these findings but received so much backlash from these men who were his peers and patrons and the pillars of society, that he withdrew it and invented the oedipus complex, the idea that children are lying because they secretly imagine it happening / wanting it to have happened as a necessary psychosexual development - the Oedipus complex - and Jung followed up with the Electra complex, and Freud and Jung are the founding fathers of basically the entire field of psychology.
The satanic panic of the 80s - the general consensus from what I've read about it, is that sexual abuse was happening inside the homes of the victims, again fathers and related male adults, but women, mothers etc encouraged the children to make accusations elsewhere - teachers etc - to distract from the actual culprit, and then created the idea of ritual satanic sacrifices to provide an emotionally provocative motive / cover narrative that spread far beyond their original expectations and they had to keep it going / also attempted to grift off of it.
There's also the church scandals - there were also large numbers of girls being abused by priests, but it simply doesn't appear in the common cultural narrative about the scandals, it's all about altar boys etc, because that is the part straight men feel is the worst / most distressing and want to most focus on.
I think this is what is happening with the present-day Qanon also - the satanic cult stuff is being used to redirect you from where and why the abuse and sexual trafficking is actually happening, which is that male predators are going to be the statistically largest demographic of predators under any conditions, and straight males the largest subsect of that, especially if they are enabled by money and power, not that there's any real conspiracy going on - it is literally just the same as the prostitution, porn, sex trafficking that all happens to adult women, but with kids.
So KF and others like to say that trans, homosexual predators have completely reshaped the culture to enable their abuse - well yes I would agree with that, I'm here aren't I, but it has to be acknowledged that straight males (without skirts on) did it several times over, first. If those predators had not been allowed to get away with it, if sexual abuse in general was consistently faced with the appropriate consequences - we would not be here now.
