Susie Green & Mermaids UK - "Trans Kid Support Charity", Susie had her underage kid get GRS

Here are the full emails. I've just started on them, and there are even emails about which prison trannies convicted of violent crimes should be in. Which to my little brain seems to have fuck all to do with both the NHS and little boys who like playing with dolls.
Happy reading.
I want those redacted cc lists. We'll be offered Carmichael's head on a platter and Susie roasted with a apple stuffed in her piggie mouth. But who sat by through all this, saw all of it, and said nothing? Who gets to slither back into counseling and medicine, without their future patients knowing what they've done?

Here are the full emails.
Brilliant, thanks.

The inconsistent redaction means we now have Susie Green’s email address (at least as of the mid-2010s): susieg100@virginmedia.com

Fines are insufficient. Resignations and then being rehired by a replacement organization doing the same work is not sufficient. I want to see jail time for the people responsible.
I shall do my best to avoid metposting, but I hope Susie Green and Polly Carmichael go to prison with the biggest hulking tranny nonce in the world and they have to live with the fear they helped normalise inflicting on women in far worse positions and far less deserving of it than them.

I have visions of Jack coming to his senses, reinventing himself as a George Formby tribute act, and haunting his mum forever with a ditty called "Ooooh Moother, where's me little Willy gone?"

The flaw in this logic is that the post-clown world, where they go to prison, is a world where there are no longer men in women's prisons.

and demanded to be regarded as a professional so she could refer children for treatment when their GPs refused

Anyone know enough about UK law to determine whether Susie would be liable for prosecution for unauthorized practice of medicine? In the US, she probably would be:
I don’t know, but this is clearly the angle they are running with, the referrals and the meddling. At what point does it become impersonating a medic, or also perhaps falls foul of kickback rules (she’s essentially forcing a diagnosis so her service can benefit.)
At least some journos are getting their teeth into it now. Let’s hope more follow, and start digging deeper into the funding and ideological forces behind it.

There’s some Mermaids stuff I need to get round to posting, particularly in response to the British Cycling decision to protect the women’s category.

But for now, please enjoy this retweet by Susie:

Of course Susie Green doesn’t think that a man in his 50s promising a job at ITV to a 15-year-old boy, getting the boy that job at 18, and then having sex with him is grooming.

And as I’ve already got it on my phone:
Malcolm-Schofield.png

(For non-Britbongs, Philip Schofield is a very prominent TV presenter whose nonce brother has just been jailed. When the rumours started swirling online about Phil’s own proclivities towards schoolboys, Phil tearfully came out as gay on his morning TV. Bit like what Kevin Spacey did but Schofield seemed to have more success with it, at least until now.)

Has Polly squawked out any comments yes? I know she had a Twitter account at one point since she was in contact with Susie over it but think it is gone now and can't see any news organisation having got an interview from her. I suspect it might have been a very long weekend for her but she might just dodge making statements as per usual.

There's a photo of this faggot with the child when the child was around ten years old.

It looks like Green is willing to suspend her homophobia when it comes to supporting pedophiles.

He really is like the British Kevin Spacey. "Oh, woe is me, I am a oppressed gay man and that's why I molest kids to cope". Ignoring, of course, that his victims were also gay men and teenagers and, as far as I'm aware, they haven't nonced anyone.

I am sure I’ve read allegations that it started much younger? I will try to find them. That ITV execs paid for cars to ferry him around secretly as well.
Schofield’s kids show in the 80s/90s was set ‘in the broom cupboard’ (the closet, to Americans.)
ETA: there was a mumsnet thread on this affair at the time. Here: https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_b...-what-s-happening-to-phillip-schofield?page=1
Archive: won’t archive for some reason
Blind gossip item (icy is schofield I presume, he was on dancing on ice show at the time? ) https://blindgossip.com/on-thin-ice/
Archive: https://archive.is/rsWg0
Again, insinuation that he met the boy much younger.

I wonder if he'll get another golden egg for it all going wrong again.

Entirely possible! To be honest I've only dipped into the allegations against Schofield. Perhaps this was the Mumsnet thread?

Mermaids had confused lesbian ("gay trans man") Verity Smith appear on Sky News to respond to the British Cycling decision to protect the female category:
@SkyNews, tweet 1662073173498626055 (archive)

Lightly formatted OpenAI transcript:
Verity Smith: It’s very disappointing to hear that, especially as myself, I work for Mermaids, I’m the trans inclusion in sports manager for them.

It’s a knock on effects having an open category, trans women and not men, and it’s really taking away what the future is for our young people involved in sports as well, and for Emily as well, who’s worked so hard in this area.

We’re not actually seeing conversations around the research, we’re not seeing conversations around being more inclusion, having a look at how we get more people involved in sports, we’re just going straight in for bans.

We’re still not seeing anybody taking away medals, we’re not seeing anyone winning. We’re not seeing any information, but the information that is out there from the Canadian Sports Institute, we’re not actually having a look at that, we’re not actually reading that.

We’re just going on opinions, so we need more open conversations, we need more transparency and we need more people from the community to be involved in this.

Otherwise we’re not going to have a future for young people within any sports because they don’t see themselves, they don’t see role models, they don’t see themselves out there, so for the young people that I work with, they’re not seeing how they can get involved in sport, they’re just being told no.

Lightly formatted OpenAI transcript:
Presenter: British Cycling will say that they spent nine months looking at this. They consulted with a lot of different constituents including trans non-binary members. They took a lot of medical research into account as well. Does that not count for much?

Verity Smith: When we’re talking about research and when we’re talking about the science in this, there’s still nothing out there that overarchingly says that testosterone is the overarching effect when we’re having these conversations.

There’s already research out there to state that nothing has actually shown what’s happening within the bodies once trans women start taking HRT. There’s nothing actually out there within an athletic setting at the moment that’s actually showing that.

We’re just going for opinions and just going for bans. It started with World Rugby who put a ban in place again without actual consideration, without speaking with trans athletes. We’re seeing athletes banned and no support for mental health either.

So more research needs to be done, work needs to be done with the community and we need sport there for the next generation. Trans people have been here since the beginning of time. We don’t ban people for race, religion, so why are we doing it for this as well?

Usual verbal garbage from a Mermaids person, insisting that the research isn't out there to show that trans-identified males retain strength. It even includes the typical red herring about testosterone suppression, which doesn't remove the advantage conferred by male puberty. (And it's not just puberty: a study of 85,000 Australian children found that 9-year-old boys were significantly stronger and faster than 9-year-old girls. Catley and Tomkinson 2011, cited in Hilton and Lundberg 2021.)

Emma Hilton has this two-year-old thread pinned to the top of her Twitter account for anyone who cared to look:

There have been two academic reviews of musculoskeletal changes in transwomen suppressing testosterone.
Both conclude that loss of muscle mass and strength is small, and that strength advantage over females is retained.

I am the first author of Hilton and Lundberg, and I have spent a lot of time researching the fairness issues arising from inclusion of transwomen in female sports.
Joanna Harper is the first author of Harper et al. She is a transwomen athlete who focuses on inclusion.

Emma Hilton (@FondOfBeetles) · Mar 6, 2021 · 12:34 PM UTC
That scientists coming to the issue from two different angles reach the same conclusions about a given dataset should foster confidence in the scientific process and the conclusions reached by both groups.
Please make sure to use both citations when disseminating.

Verity Smith is Mermaids' "trans inclusion in sport" person, but clearly the inclusion of trans-identified males into the female category at the expense of women and girls. Fair Play for Women recently published a good short video on this very topic:

Thanks for the reference, will save that. The thing is that anyone who has kids knows this. At two or three they have similar shaped clothes and a long haired toddler might be a girl or a boy under the layer of sandpit grime and whatever, let them play and do what they will, at that age it’s no biggie.
But by 7-8, you really see the differences. By 8-9, boys are noticeably stronger. After that, even before puberty they are strong.

(I imagine some of you will have seen this but it's not in the thread yet.)

On May 30, Innocent Drinks promoted Mermaids on Twitter, calling them "legends". Innocent, which makes expensive smoothies, is owned by Coca-Cola.

@innocent, tweet 1663489437668462593 (archive)
Innocent dijo:
On May 17th, it was IDAHOBIT. It’s the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. It’s all about helping people feel like they can be their true selves and is absolutely nothing about hobbits.

So, we turned to the legends over at @Mermaids_Gender.

We’re always looking for ways to be more inclusive, so, we asked Mermaids to teach us what’s okay to say.

A charity that works with young gender diverse people, they teamed up with our LGBTQ+ and Fairness in Gender affinity groups to put on a workshop around language.

It’s hard to talk about the important stuff if you don’t know the right words to use. And if you’re worried about getting it wrong, you might avoid it altogether. We’re hoping that now we have the right words, we can have even more of these conversations.

Speaking of the right words, here’s some we learned about:

DEADNAMING:
This is when you call someone (usually a trans person) by their birth name after they have changed their name and it can be incredibly hurtful.

MISGENDERING
This is when you refer to someone as a gender they don’t identify with. So, if someone uses they/them pronouns and you use she/her. If you get someone's gender wrong by mistake, it's fine to correct yourself and apologise. It shows you're open to learning.

GENDER DIVERSE
It’s just a shorter way of speaking about anyone who doesn’t identify with the sex they were assigned at birth.

GENDER DYSPHORIA
This is when someone feels uncomfortable or distressed because their sex assigned at birth and their gender identity don’t match up. Having things like gender neutral loos or a very relaxed dress code can really help with that.

There have been a ton of companies that have endorsed Mermaids (warning: (public) Google Drive link).

What's interesting here is that Innocent deleted the tweet after online backlash. They claimed this was because the replies to the thread "weren't in line with our values" (though those values, apparently, including racially segregated "affinity groups"):

innocent drinks on Twitter: "A note from us. https://t.co/ZIdxRRE7IW" / Twitter (archive)
Innocent dijo:
We've deleted a twitter thread.

One of the things we care most about at innocent is people. That's why we have affinity groups, which are safe spaces for people that work here to share experiences around protected characteristics like race, disability or gender. And these groups help us understand what life's like for each other.

One of the ways we do that is by bringing in guest speakers, and those talks are open to whoever wants to know more. Over the years, we've had talks on things like autism and neurodiversity, racial equality and most recently, gender diversity.

Today we posted about what we learned from one of these talks, and in the past few hours, we've started to see lots of comments that weren't in line with our values. We always want to make sure our social media channels are respectful and inclusive, which is why we've deleted the thread.
Also lol, "gender" isn't a protected characteristic.

Apologies for double-posting. I've been going through the the FOI release, breaking it apart. Attached here are the slides for the November 2016 "Trans Equality Legal Initiative" conference (hosted by Linklaters, supported by Garden Court Chambers and various worthies).

Probably nothing will be surprising for veteran troon-watchers, but I would emphasise that this was going on behind the scenes. Not necessarily secretly, but not openly the way you might expect a campaign group to operate.

What I did get a giggle out of, though, is who was on the "health plenary" panel with Susie Green:
