I don't really agree with the truth of /pol/ because I think it's at least half-retarded, but I can definitely sympathize. There's definitely stuff on /pol/ that is actually correct. Once you look at the absolute bullshit that the mainstream media is incessantly feeding us, it's impossible to unsee the lies.

I definitely feel, when talking to normie relatives, the sense that I can't just say what I actually know to be the truth, because they are overwhelmed and inundated by absolute bullshit and actually believe all these goddamn lies. I feel like a fucking cuck when I hear them regurgitating nonsensical talking points from their media outlets of preference.

On the few occasions I have tried to counter this, I get nonsense like "I never knew you were a racist" and shit even more stupid. And when I didn't say anything even remotely racist. It's not like I'm going around heiling Hitler and shouting 1488 death to niggers or some shit.

Incidentally the racist accusation was just from pointing out that BLM was literally burning down entire cities and yet we're supposed to view that 1/6 bullshit as some kind of "insurrection." Remember, burning down cities is "mostly peaceful," while just going into Congress and pulling some pranks is literally the worst thing ever.

I have pretty much come to accept that around ~80% of all people are just no good, deep down. I heard someone use the classification of "inauthentic person" before, and I think that describes most people best. In the end, it does not matter one bit; the universe has existed for almost 14 billion years. That's fourteen thousand million. Humanity by a purely scientific definition has been around for 200,000 or so of those years. Humanity by a modern person's definition has been around for only a few hundred, or thousand if you are being generous. We developed the ability to destroy our entire planet with the press of a button around 80 years ago, or about the life span an average person expects to live. During that time we have come close to annihilating ourselves a staggering number of times, and that is just including all of the incidents that the public knows about. We won't last much longer. And I agree that existing in the first place is kind of strange, and I could hypothetically deduce that since I am here now, and you are here now, we could happen again eventually.
