Money Chandlers sued for debt megathread

His tugboat isn't gone. It only goes away if he's convicted and spends enough time incarcerated. It's been accumulating.
If it were accumulating they would've "accidentally" leveled on it, so the fact there was nothing to garnish means, for one reason or another, his bank account is empty

Do you mean to say they could have found some sneaky way that somehow will still legal to garnish the tugboat?

If so, please elaborate.

That is not a sure thing. Save yourself the trouble of writing a paragraph about how unscrupulous these companies are. It won’t change my mind.

Unless Barb stole it.
Banks have fees like "Regular deposits or $15/mo". If the tugboat stopped then CACHING! $15 a month. When the fees have completely eaten up the bank account they stop, right? HAHA! NO! $35 overdraft fee, which makes you even more overdrawn, so everyday you're overdrawn is another $35 and next thing you know, a $300 bank account you haven't touched in years is negative $17,205 and deeper in the red every day you don't cough up the balance
Why does anyone even use a bank? Credit unions do anything a bank does, do it better, you get a human when you call, and they don't pull any of this insane bullshit.

How likely is my theory that the courts found out Chris had tens of thousands saved up and ordered him to pay Heilberg out of pcoket?

I know the miranda rights are "If you cannot AFFORD an attorney one will be appointed for you" but Chris might've actually saved up enough to afford him and there's really no reason for the state to shoulder the expense of his lawyer if it's already paid him enough in tugboat he doesn't need

I've throrized for a while that this might be the kernel of truth behind "I'm not touching my tugboat to retain Heilberg" misunderstood as retaining him in future.

Wasn't his tugboat suspended while he was in the pokey?

Not terminated but just a temporary stay as the SSI is meant to provide for life's basics which he gets while incarcerated.

I'm not 100% on this but didn't this very topic get beat to death when he first got arrested?

Imagine Chris going per se and defending himself explaining he needed those legos.

anyway, Yes at the time of getting arrested. If his tug boat account accumulates money because all his housing and food is being provided by being in jail that does not count as paying for a lawyer because the income came in from being disabled from the ssdi.

If he saved up the money before getting arrested and his only income is the tug boat, the judge can determine that a lawyer might put him a financial hardship and provide Chris one anyway.

If he was getting a lot of money for his art into his account after being arrested, the judge might let it ride because down the road it can be lead to a retrial or some other in unfavorable outcome.

I wonder if he did have money because of the tug boat, would they be able to garnish from it since it's all from ssdi.

I also wonder since caden is making money for Chris and possibly holding Chris's cut, can they try to garnish money that way.

If we're a cult what colour are our hoods?
Emerald green. Underneath will be dark red wine. And satin. Monogrammed and satin on the outside, plush and velveteen on the inside.

If I'm giving my life for Jesus Christine Weston Chandler CPU Goddess, I'm going to have the most bougieist sacrificial attire 2 years of tugboats can buy.

Will it have sacred lines said by Chris embroidered in the hem like "tranny pride world wide" & such.

No. The FAQ explains this.

Yes and voluminous sections of the SSA website were posted showing that it is only AFTER conviction that it's shut off.

If I'm not mistaken, social security disability has some fairly strict rules regarding how much one is allowed to keep in a checking/savings account. If Chris has been declaring all along that he meets that burden and he didn't, that would be a reason if they found out to suspend his tard bucks until all the months he received the money inappropriately were paid back (with "paid back" being in the sense of not receiving the tard buck matching the amount of time he inappropriately received them)

The results are in: Dismissed No Funds

So, they are stupid enough to sue someone with no job, no assets, and lives on a tugboat? Their lawyer should be fired for being this retarded.
